Getting what you wished for

It’s not good if our coach staff has people leaving. Our coaching staff is very experienced and accomplished for the FCS level.
It's a good thing cause it means we have nobody to coach the 3-3-5, so we'll have to go to more of a traditional scheme. Sounds like a win to me!

Yup i hope it works out the way the negative unfans hope. BH is a great coach and i said he would be coaching again. You don’t get a DC at a FBS competitive school unless you are a great coach

We stopped the run against some good teams last year, including the Cats in the first game.
That’s just not true. The Cats ran for 240 and nearly 6 YPC in Missoula. We did fare well against South Dakota, but Phillips went down and their actions were from the pistol. Seems we really struggled vs the Power Spread under Bobby.

I will say though, I’m not sure I’d be on board with wholesale staff changes. That absolutely opens the door for guys to leave.

Cats had 241, and averaged 5.7. Grizzlies averaged 6.4. Better APC by Grizzlies. Cats had 2 rushing TD's. Grizzlies had 3.

Cats had 240 in 2d game and averaged 5.5. That includes Jones' 54 yard run on a play the Grizzlies lined up wrong and then goofed up the D. Subtracting that out, Cats otherwise had 186, or 4.3 per carry, plus the long run.

5.7 to Griz 6.4, and 4.3 per carry plus a 54 yard run, does not constitute being "run over", in my view.

BK just needs to go to the lake house for a weekend and hear the old Darmouth stories and Hoops will forget about Bobby (just flipping ya shit). I agree yes many are getting what they asked for and maybe it was a good time for Bobby and Griz Nation to part ways. Im excited to see what the future holds and what a new regime can do here. Could lead us to new heights or go down in flames. Only time will tell. FTC.

I think taking out gash runs for one team and not the other is pretty disingenuous. I also think it’s entirely fair to acknowledge the body of work for Bobby’s 3-3-5 against various FCS Power Spreads was just not desirable. It worked to a better extent when we had Gunner, but even then these teams were going for 200+. That does not mean Bobby was a bad coach. In fact, he revived this program from the dead. For that, we should all be thankful.
