Questions for tonight’s emergency GFP

Why was this decision not made immediately after the season ended? Was the fallout from how the season ended a factor? Is fundraising not going well? Any other factors that you guys know about that might have caused the immediate retirement?
 
James, you could choose any coach at any level to be the head man at Montana. Who’re ya takin?

Am I the only one who thought it looked as though Bobby may have shed some tears prior to the press con?

Do you really believe BH is retired, or do you expect him to take an assistant’s position in a major conference or in the NFL?

What’s the best concert you’ve ever seen?
 
If Kennedy is just a transitional stop-gap hire, does Griz athletics go outside the nepotistic Griz coaching tree for a perm hire, or do they search out a fresh face from outside Griz world? (Ie like a SDSU, N

He did ask for prayers. Gotta be tuff admitting you dont love your dream job and just dont have the desire to do it no more. For all the chinks in the armor that the haters love to pick at, no one can argue Bobby's love for Montana football and his desire to make it the best.

I'd hope we wouldn't limit ourselves to only "Montana Guys" or people with past connections. We have alot to offer, especially as an FCS school (we're on par with G6 schools, if not better then a good # of them) we should cast as wide a net as possible to get the absolute best we possibly can without any restrictions.

Bobby Kennedy has 1 year of experience with Montana. He is about as outside the program as you could go career wise.

Correct, but I was responding to Counters question taking BK as a "stop gap hire" as the hypothetical gospel truth. I hope BK and the team succeeds but just I'm case we're looking for a new Coach in 2027 I'd like 0 restrictions.

Oh yeah I got it just fine. But it was still a crappy thing to say to me. Because all I ever did was offer constructive criticism. I also said plenty of good things about him and about the program, and since he announced his resignation I have not said one critical thing about him. Not one. As a matter of fact I have criticized other posters who have cheered because he resigned.
