After all the sour grapes and hate from Grizz fans for YEARS the shoe is on the other foot huh boys??!! 😂😂😂 Not going to lie it feels really good to be the champs!!! You all can watch your last natty on my VHS player if you’d like; I have room for you.

You all say you are “kind” and “respectful” fans yet all the years of battle between the teams prove otherwise and it just feels right to see you all angry, bitter, maniacal, and depressed!! Don’t worry I know you’ll be back to being second fiddle again next year and I’m good with it. Just know daddy is home and we’ve officially relegated you all to the basement and you’re never coming back upstairs!!! Enjoy all!!

Dear Griz fans - I went to law school at UM and graduated with a number of former Griz players who were and are excellent human beings. The former players have always been more realistic and candid about the state of affairs during Bobby 2.0 than some Bobby fluffer like Hoops.

With that said, what you are seeing from Cat fans is some pretty righteous indignation after decades of ridicule. I was 11 years old in 1997 and I remember Griz fans laughing at me while I cried as the Cats ruined their greatest chance to end the streak. It was seared into my brain like a branding iron on a calf.

With that said, I hope Cat fans can be respectful. I always will be, no matter how much Hoops fluffs the Hauck family balls. I have despised the Griz as long as I can remember, but it doesn’t mean that I despise all of the fans. The Bobcats, who were forever inept and incompetent, just won the national championship. Debate amongst yourselves whether or not we deserved it, but we had to beat you twice to earn it. That says something about the competitiveness of our programs.

Bobby has never respected the Cats, which many Cats enjoy now more than ever due to his Rub Ass-like record against his in state rival during his second stint. Many of us hope Bobby stays forever. Does anyone other than Hoops?

Dear cat fans. Nobody cares. Go celebrate with your brethren and find the next thing you can copy. Sing that song that was ripped off by a British rocker from the original American band and keep screaming our name listening to a 60 year old song. Pretty incapable of giving it up and growing up or having one unique idea.
 
I was actually offering a legitimate compliment about how we had to beat you twice to get the luck we had in the championship. The entire thing hinged on 3 points back in November. Pretty competitive if you ask me. You guys win that game in Missoula, you’d definitely beat us again in Missoula and you’d be in the championship.

Cats fans have the right to rub it in. Usually you have to rub it out since you can’t get a damn date. Gloat now and do it often. The pendulum always swings back and you should enjoy it while you can. The state of college football is weird and evolving way more rapidly than most would like. Next year could be sour grapes. We shall see. BTW - nothing screams little brother more than coming on your rivals board to try and aggravate Griz fans. You do you though. The Cat football team had a great year.
 
Its ironic. When we were at the Hawks - Raptors game on Friday, and the Raptors were making the Hawks their bitch (a growing trend), they started up the usual Bozeman "who's your daddy chant" and all the Hawk fans/students/parents were crying about it. Absolutely no self awareness. :ROFLMAO:

It all the nature of rivalries. When I tell my friends that are Cat fans to fuck off we laugh about and move on. When anonymous Cat posters come on here and talk shit I say fuck off and it is sincere.

I was born and raised in Cat country, as a 100% Griz fan, when the Griz really were bad. I learned “Up With Montana” side by side with “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” and “Jesus Loves Me.” But I was taught names like Bill Lazetich, Milt Popovich and Jack Swarthout — and, on the basketball side, Frosty Cox, Dusty Rhodes, Danny Balko, Russ Sherriff, Ed Argenbright. And I was/am proud of those names. I was a vested Griz fan forever, yet every Bobcat fan denigrated the Griz and told me I was foolish to be a fan. But, I attended UM, happily cheered on the fairly woeful 1960s Griz — and, a few years later, experienced one of my happiest Griz moments when I sat in the end zone at Gaton Field, and watched the Cat FG kicker miss a kick in the closing seconds that would have beaten the Griz — Griz won 7-6. My mom and I were the only UM fans in that end zone, and no one spoke one word to us.
All that is many years ago. That 1969 game is the last one I have been to in Bozeman. I have no desire to again experience the disrespect I grew up with, to hear ESGGCG right in front of me. I am proud to be a Griz fan for 79 years, and nothing will ever make me root for the Cats.

I assume the situation was the same in Kalispell as it is now in Bozeman: the new high school goes up in the area where are the growth is happening, which attracts the more affluent young families, and you get much higher participation and kids trying out, including all the kids who have doing years of travel ball in various sports.

School goes from having all of the kids in the area to suddenly getting the less motivated 50% of them.
