Are the Cats the luckiest team ever to win the FCS national championship?

I will put you on ignore after saying one thing to you jack, you were a not so friendly fan to my girls at a Griz spring practice this year as they were already sitting in a shaded spot before you rolled in late and your banter to them about it being your spot came of as are you kidding me instead of being silly with them, I know you do alot for the university and I am grateful for the but enough of the all high and mighty
You got the wrong guy. I did not attend any spring practice and haven’t for years. I was in Arizona during all of spring practice. I haven’t seen a spring game or spring practice in a half dozen years. I didn’t return to Missoula until May. I usually don’t get to Missoula until May. I will await your apology.

I've never seen a team get so lucky in almost all the playoff games and in the championship game. And I'm not saying this because I'm a sore loser. I challenge anyone to go back and really watch both of our games against the Cats and when the Cats played SFA and the championship game. I've never in all my life of football seen a team get away with the amount of holding MSU does. Like the time someone freeze framed our hold on the Brooks Davis end around to show it was holding. Go and watch all those games I just mentioned and it's borderline crazy how much they hold. Yeah MSU won, but it wasn't because they were better than Illinois St. They got lucky plain and simple. Illinois St gave that game away on a silver platter.

Wasn't him, he didn't go to any Spring practices or the game. Might want to stop with the making up stories bit because you don't like someone.

They found a way to win. Blocking the field goal and extra point isn’t luck. They overcame a ton of penalties. A win is a win!

I do apologize i meant fall practice I typed it wrong you even sat in the practice golf cart/side by side after you made your comment to us,
Nether here nor there but sometimes how you come across makes you seem better than other Griz fans who love the Griz just as much as you do, all I'm saying

2 bad holds/snaps and 2 missed kicks late in game by ISU.

First downs 20 by Cats and 33 by ISU. 3-9 3d down efficiency for Cats.

Total Offense 471, ISU, to 381.

60 yards of offense by Cats in 2d half, I think, (excluding OT). Minus 23 yards by Cats in 2d half (excluding OT).

101 yards rushing by Cats. 46, 20 and 33 by the 2 backs on QB. 4.2 average. 10 carries by RB's. 160 yards rushing by ISU.

40, ISU, to 20 minutes TOP.

14 penalties by Cats. I thought the Cat center might end up being the ISU MVP.

ISU not going for it late on 4th and less than 1, from the MSU 21, I think.

No TO by ISU.

ISU QB 33-46.

3 sacks by ISU; 0 by Cats.
That game was like the twilight zone. The cat center was bailed out by the epic fails of the ISU PAT/field goal team. I can’t imagine what those kids are feeling right now. That was brutal to watch.

We might be getting more Taco time next season. I heard the Dowlers want to come back and MSU wants to give them more money.

Depends on how you look at it. The other side of the coin is they won despite playing a shitty second half and overcame a billion penalties. Finding a way to win when not playing well is the mark of a champion. The Griz have won A TON of games they had no business winning...because winners find a way!
EWU this past season comes to mind

The Bobcats have always been lucky its part of their mystique
I thought the only time they got lucky was with their cousin?

As for their run, it was definitely sloppy, but clearly enough to get it done, good on them. I would like to see the tally on false starts for the total playoff run. If I remember right, they had like 8 against SFA and 9 against ISU. Wild stat to overcome. They hit a home run with Lamson, which is wild how fortunate they were with him. I'm sure they will be handing him a blank check to make sure he stays for 1 more year. Have to give their revamped coaching staff a lot of credit for adapting their offense and defense to the talent they had and not trying to force it the other way around.
