If you knew football, you would know backyard refers to your recruiting territory and is usually limited to your state. Georgia has dominated their backyard ever since Kirby Smart arrived, and they might have the most fertile backyard in the nation when it comes to football talent.

Hauck has won many championships. Hauck has been to won more semifinal games. He has been to more championships games. That's the real story.

Getting to the Semi's and simply playing in and losing title games is in no way as good or better than actually winning a title. You are trying to bend reality to fit your tired narrative, and you are getting worse at it by the day, as many have told you. Hauck, to this point is a good coach, not an elite coach. He will consistently get the Griz into the playoffs and an occasional appearance in the championship game, but has shown nothing to prove he can actually win it. Elite coaches win championships and/or move up and are successful, i.e. Cignetti. No one is going to see it your way until Hauck does something to change the narrative, and I'm sorry, but I and many don't have a lot of faith he is going to do that. Actions speak louder than words and he says the right stuff, but has not shown he can actually get to the top of the FCS.


Feel free to try and lawyer up your response with all your "facts and stats". Don't care. You are old timer jock sniffer who thinks he's buddy buddy with all the players and coaches, but everyone has one of those guys in their life that you are just polite to because they are a little weird. Could care less about your opinion and frankly think you see things relating to the Griz and Hauck with an enormous bias.

Deboer looked like a genius in this one. Kicking a field goal down 24-0 in the second half to turn a 3 score game into a 3 score game is next level ingenuity.
