I'd be very surprised if Lamson left. He's already been at a couple FBS schools and didn't get the playing time he wanted, and has been pretty vocal about how much he loves being in Bozeman and playing for a school where the community actually cares about football. Plus, he's only got one year left, he's not an NFL prospect, why take the risk that you'll go somewhere and not be the dude?

He could help a lot teams. And if he’s not going to play in the NFL it will be his last year to make significant money playing football.

Guys - like every other team, Griz football is a program, not a hotel room. Players will check in and check out, but the room is still here and we’re going to keep it ready for the next group. It’s the world we live in today. I don’t like it but I accept it.
