Shafer hit vs Harper hit

😆 You’re not the sharpest tool in the woodshed. You’re wrong on all counts.
Or, just maybe, it’s you that’s a bit dense. I was simply putting on my hulahoops persona. I’ve read ALL about hula’s wealth, intelligence, football prowess, how Bobby asks him to dissect defenses, how players text him at halftme asking for feedback, etc. It’s literally every other post from him.

I have never said any of that. But it’s all true. Ha.

190. Played against him multiple years. I was a good tackler and a hitter. No tackling knees for me.

He threatened me. You are a dumb 21 year old. I was a lawyer for 45 years. It floating. Just telling a little story. You are too big if pussy to defend our country. And too stupid. It may doesn’t make me look tough at all. I would have looked to see you tackle the Columbia TE and future 13 years Redskin Hog. He was good Columbia hoops has player too.
I tackled Americas Full back if it any consolation he was the strongest 18 year old in the world at the time there we both have people that neither will ever tackle. and no he didn’t threaten you, for a lawyer you sure are fucking dumb. According to the CRM a threat is “an avowed intention to injure presently or in the future.” Op made the statement that if someone made the claim that they’d want a player hurt from their family that the person better have good life insurance implying a hypothetical situation. You were in no present or future potential for harm therefore it couldn’t be treated as a legitimate threat. You’re a fucking idiot hoops regardless of the the accomplishments you hold so dearly onto.

Did you tackle someone in a football game more or less than 50 years ago?

It was a threat. A 21 year old punt trying to tell 45 year lawyer what the law is. You are clueless. Did you ever tackle Ed Marinaro, Calvin Hill, or Dick Jauron?

Do you think your the only person that knows about law, My brother is an ADA in the Denver area and a lead prosecutor for their hate crimes unit, i decided to ask him just for fun if it was a threat because fuck you hoops i can. He also agreed that he doesn’t believe that’d fall under the definition of a “threat”. and then we both agreed that anyone that would consider that a threat is probably the worlds biggest pussy and secretly cheers for the cats.

Are you saying punt as in being a punter is an insult? Punter is the only position in football that does everything. They are the complete football player.

100% Dang oh! Feel bad for Shafe with that injury. Honestly, Micah too - bang bang play in a huge semi final. Come on!!! ‘Twas Interesting to see what was deemed worthy of referee intervention and ‘twas not. Still need to be a bit better. It’s very depressing, big motivation this off season. Go Griz!!!
Say ‘Twas again

but it is kindve cool that you tackled the coach from blue mountain state
He's one of my best friends. He comes to MT to fish. Stays at my house sometimes. I introduced him to some Griz several years ago in Missoula. I had arranged for him to come to a PRP, and the team had switched the days of practice for him, but he got hung up in Chicago airport for 10 hours and missed practice. I stay with him at his home in Charleston every few years. My 36 year old daughter is good friends with him too. We texted today over fishing. When my daughter played rugby for Dartmouth, he and his wife came with me and my wife to the rugby's team's big BBQ in Malibu on their spring trip. He was a hit. We were the same class in college. I met him at the Hula Bowl my senior year. I went with him and some Cornell buddies to Nassau for spring break that year. He spent his NFL summers in NJ (where he was from) and NYC, when I was a lawyer there. We hung out alot. He introduced me to alot of Ford and Wilemina models and some NFL people, including Joe Namath. He tried to get me to go in on a condo in Fort Lauderdale with him and Joe. I didn't, but should have. Namath and Marinaro had the same agent. His longest run his senior year was against Dartmouth and on ABC tv (with the no. 1 ABC crew). I ran him down from the opposite corner, but it was a long run. In the lead up to the Heisman and the day of it, the video of me chasing him was shown a bunch of times. They forgot to mention my name. Ed was runner-up for the Heisman. Should have won it. Led nation in rushing his last 2 years. Set about 20 NCAA records. The last he had, career average per game, was a record that had been held by Jim Thorpe. He played in 2 Super Bowls with Vikes. I'd post some photos of Ed in MT if I knew how.

Watch it again. He hit him shin and the only reason Schafer got hurt so bad was the unfortunate circumstance that his foot was planted on contact. Petre did exactly what is being taught to every defensive back in the country when trying to tackle someone who's got you by 100 lbs. When did you guys become such whiney bitches?

Hit on Schafer - Legal
Hit on Davis - Legal
Hit of Gillman - Legal
Hit on Taco - Illegal
Hit on Lamson - Illegal

I would challenge that the only hit that had any ill intent was the late hit on Lamson, at least two steps after he released the ball.
Of course that is how you see it. You’re a Cat fan.

When I played, if an opponent cheap-shoted one of our guys, we went after the offender later in the game or the next year. We always got our man. The Griz were accused of doing that against Weber 10 - 15 or so years ago. I really don't like dirty players.

Guy who won the Heisman in 1971 Pat Sullivan, is former Griz kicker Daniel Sullivan’s uncle.
