Hauck will coach at UM as long as he wants to, could it be 10 years?

He was suggesting that people financially supporting the program is akin to lighting money on fire unless a change is made with the coaching staff because more money coming in is not going to change the results with the same coaches. I am not saying whether his statement is right or wrong. I am saying you calling a stranger online who you know nothing about a loser, makes you sound ignorant on whether or not more financial support with the current coaching staff would bring a championship to UM or not. It seems like instead of debating that, because you are ignorant and don’t have an opinion, you deflect with an irrelevant insult. I am also not saying that is correct that you are ignorant on this topic, just your posting irrelevant insults makes it look like you are.
Ok bot 👌

Bobby took what was left over from the Delaney-Stitt Show and has been successful. Not as successful as I had hoped, but 13-2 is going to be beaten by WHOM? Maybe Haslam didn't get to Whittingham before Michigan did. But, then again, I doubt Haslam can write $8.3m checks that don't bounce like a SuperBall.

Somebody has to talk to Bobby about what has and HAS NOT worked and get him to make some changes. I still like his rapier wit. I wonder who he was addressing when the sideline camera in the first quarter in Bozeman showed him walking the sideline, headphones on, and tell the mystery person to 'Fuck off!' or was it 'Fuck you!'

Like what? What hasn’t worked against Dakota and MV schools in say last 3 seasons?

There are 4 teams that make up the top of the FCS. Montana, Bozeman st, sdsu and NDSU. Since Haucks return we have played NDSU, sdsu and msu a total of 13 times. The Griz are 4-9 in those games. The cats have had 572 carries for 3,265 yards or 5.7 yards per carry, 251 yards per game in that time. SDSU had 5.5 yds per carry for a total of 188 yards rushing in the championship game in 2023. In the win against NDSU in 2023 the Griz gave up 175 yard late rushing. And 2023 was the best version of the 3-3-5 defense during Hauck 2.0. If you look at those losses since 2018 the story is the same for each one.
Make of those numbers what you will but it doesn’t scream a coach that is willing to make timely changes.

Wisconsin-River Falls has definitely surpassed them recently. Both Wisconsin-Plattville, and Wisconsin-La Crosse have at least equaled, if not surpassed at the moment.
Wisconsin-River Falls moved their defensive coordinator to be their offensive coordinator and their offense became more uptempo and has darn near been unstoppable since they made the move.

I’m traditional old school. Our true rival is actually Idaho who we were with in the PAC. That rivalry lost it’s luster when they moved up and we didn’t.

It was brutal to the point of throwing potatoes. I remember the night we beat an unbeaten top ten ranked bb team.

In the end a win or loss against doesn’t count any differently in the standings. Do we get extra points for beating a rival vs a Northern Colorado. I think not.

Some will go it gives a better in state recruiting advantage. Twenty years ago that meant more than it does now in the days of NIL and portals.

Many whining are simply trolls or whiners in general. HikeGlacier has been whining and lying for 20+ years. Others seem disappointed being a too 3 program but think we suck because we struggle with the Cats. Seemingly this same posters would be happy with a sub 500 team as long as we beat the Cats.
There is proof that the Griz can beat the Cats, win the Big Sky, AND be National Champions. Just not in Bobby 2.0

If you look at historical results, the Griz are good in odd years and mediocre to slightly above mediocre in the even years.

2018 - 6-5 overall, 4-4 in conference, loss to Cats by 4 in Missoula
2019 - 10-4 overall, 6-2 in conference, loss to Cats by 34 in Bozeman
2020 - no season
2021 - 10-3 overall, 6-2 in conference, win over Cats by 19 in Missoula
2022 - 8-5 overall, 4-4 conference, loss to Cats by 34 in Bozeman
2023 - 13-2 overall, 7-1 in conference, win over Cats by 30 in Missoula
2024 - 9-5 overall, 5-3 in conference, loss to Cats by 23 in Bozeman
2025 - 13-2 overall, 7-1 in conference, loss to Cats by 3 in Missoula, loss to Cats by 25 in Bozeman.

If everything goes to historical results, the 2026 Griz will be 9-5 overall, 5-3 in conference, and lose to the Cats by 28 in Bozeman.

That’s probably not far from the mark

Don’t cherry pick.

You mean like you did trying to limit the Wins and Losses against the MVFC to only the last 3 years?
If everything goes to historical results, the 2026 Griz will be 9-5 overall, 5-3 in conference, and lose to the Cats by 28 in Bozeman.
Looking at are Away schedule next season I hate to admit it but this is a possibility:

OSU, NAU, EWU, Davis and Bozeman

All of them are places we have historically struggled at, an FBS team and Davis who is now the third best team in the Big Sky. If we're able to retain our Offensive firepower it will help and change our Defensive scheme It will go a long way at putting my mind at ease. If we don't or only accomplish one I don't know if we're winning these games.

Yes, the most relevant period is after Hauck got things turned around after his return. Including his earlier transition years is not relevant and misleading.

Invidual games were picked. Cherry picked.
Like you "cherry picked" the Griz record over the last 3 years VS the MVFC he is literally just covering Montanas record (since we're a top 4 program in FCS) against the other 3 teams in the Top 4 of FCS since Hauck 2.0 took over

Why is him listing facts when it involves our peers on the Gridiron upsetting you so much? Can you refute any of the hard factual data? Or is this going to be another "you dont know football, my law degree, the coaches texted me" type of deflection for the 20th time.

A friend and I drove from Billings in two days ( We subsewuebtly flew Alaska-Horizon to Portland for GRIZ-Oregon games.) in '96 for The Beaver Beatdown 🦫 in Corvallis, behind a sterling performance from our young QB named Brian Ah Yat and a massive D line anchored by 300 lb All-Big Sky DT Brian Toone of Butte running GRIZ DC Jerome Souer's 4-3-4 ( not 3-3-5 ), we throttled Oregon State 36-14.

We actually felt a little sorry for OSU by the end of the game because the Beavs had us circled as a pretty-sure W on their nonconference schedule before they started PAC-10 play and once we beat them convincingly, The Beaver 🦫 Believers--their version of the then GAA, now the GSA, knew it was going to be another long, tough losing season and it indeed was, 2-9. As a result, their staff, including a young and upcoming DC Bronco Mendenhall, were all canned at the end of their 2-9 season : ( !!!

He cherry picked games. How many times do I have to tell you that? He didn’t list stats for all games in the period. You are dumb as a post. And what Hauck did in the turnaround years after his return is NOT relevant.

The last 3 years shows what is going on now. It’s not cherry picked.

What do you notice with Bobby's record against the Cats?
