PDX - I have no interest in engaging in a back and forth negitive conversation. Please review my original post. There is no bitching other than my opinion that the bulk of the current situation rests on Haucks shoulders. And I offered a solution which may be better than others have suggested. There is really nothing that can be done in the near term. I suggested an approach that would involve influential persons working to suggest to Hauck that retirement after the 26 season would both benefit the University, the football program, his mental health, and his legacy. There was one reply to this thread that said they knew the Washington bros and would bring the issue up. Those type of responses might start moving things forward. However, unless there is some back room pressure on Hauck, I simply don't believe that you and others blindly supporting Hauck for what he did many years ago, will change anything. There comes a time when it becomes apparent that the status que isn't working but apparently there is a significnt portion of egriz that isn't willing to accept the change that is needed. All I can say is see you next year to see what direction the needle moves.
