Talkin Schmidt Podcast

Thing about Colter is he follows both schools and fans get mad when he covers the "other" school.
In 22 when cats went deep in playoffs he obviously had more Cat content because they played longer into the season. 23 Griz, 24 cats, this year which ever team makes it farthest will get more coverage pretty simple. Colter was smart to cover both schools rather than leave one school to be picked up by another podcast or media group. Fans let their hatred of the rival school blur their vision on everything including social media personalities. I enjoy his show with Marty and never miss an episode of his show with Tripp.
Colter has a pretty sweet gig talking sports and interviewing coaches and players from all over FCS.

He was spot on about you. It's nice to know you can identify the 80-year-old he referred to.
Not 80, but I know my name. Schmidt doesn’t know much about me, but
I know about him through my Bozeman family and know how much he got on field for the Griz. And my wife figures him out in a few minutes. Schmidt isn’t tough enough to be on egriz.

I hate to break it to you but this post is only highlighting and proving correct what Colter and Andrew said about egriz and certain posters here. You're not doing anyone any favors. If you're just trying to be funny, fine, but it's not coming across that way.
100% accurate. 100% falling on deaf ears. It's like the cult of maga - you're fake news. The coven of egriz.

Who is this

Dont Kick 2 Bergen

He comes on Egriz and starts another thread about Schmidt after my thread went viral and then was taken down because it was the Dumbest thread ever according to some. Buddy I been on Egriz longer than you so don't get on Egriz and act like a bigshot. You keep it up I am gonna have to find an attorney dead or alive it makes no difference who it is.

Schmidt rounded up from 75 to 80 for dramatic effect but the point still stands. 75 years old and 80 years old does not make a substantial difference in the point Schmidt was making.
And now I can point out that he didn't play a huge amount for the Griz, was essentially a bench-warming scrub, and had no stats in his one national championship game. I see this is the US News ranking of his law school. The ranking says that 200 law schools were surveyed. Mine happens to be no. 1 on that list.

Ohio Northern University

#178-195 in Best Law Schools

I didn't even have to round down, or up, on any of this.

The old timers are HUGE jock sniffers. They ask all sorts of dumb questions at QB Club that leave many people just shaking their head.
Whose jocks do the old timers sniff? Many of the questions are good. The growing number of women in qb club are asking some good questions too. Obviously, you have never been a member.

Yep, he talks about 80-year-olds who bash former Griz players who never played there.

All the old guys (yes I attend and have for many years) love to act like they are buddy buddy with players and even more so coaches. The coaches are polite and play the game and act friendly back to them, but they are just being nice. Its really obvious Hauck dislikes doing stuff like QB club, but he understands its importance financially, I assume, so he shows up and plays the part. Shows up right at 6:00 and doesn't stay one second longer than he has to. Probably rolls his eyes all the way back to his office after having people asking him dumb stuff.

In case you are confused as to what a "Jock Sniffer" is, here you go... A jock sniffer is a pejorative term for someone who obsessively idolizes athletes. It implies excessive admiration, attention, or eagerness to associate with athletes in a way that seems fawning or sycophantic.

Players don't go to QB Club. Bobby is the only coach who attends QB Club. Hauck actually really enjoys QB Club. You obviously are not part of QB Club. Hauck stays around afterwards to talk to individuals. Everything you just said was dead wrong. I see little or no jock sniffing at QB Club. You are wrong again.

I just speak the truth about one ex-bench warmer who bashes the team, some players and the coaches. He deserves it. And this came after he came after me on the podcast and egriz. I'm happy to return him the favor. Tell us about your athletic career. Ha.

What happens when you copy all of Hoop's posts from this thread into chat GPT and ask it to run a psychological profile, well, you get this. Ai is sure amazing.

This person shows a defensive and status-driven interpersonal style, reacting strongly to any perceived slight, especially around age, competence, or relevance. Their posts rely heavily on external validation, such as family connections, past achievements, and institutional prestige, which suggests a fragile underlying self esteem. They display rumination, rigid thinking, and a tendency to recast ordinary disagreements as personal attacks or deliberate wrongdoing. Their emotional responses appear disproportionate to the triggers, indicating difficulty regulating anger and a strong need to protect their self image. Overall, the writing reflects traits consistent with a narcissistic and suspicious personality style, with underlying insecurity driving much of the intensity.

Oh man, AI nailed him. I asked AI for his final days and this is what it spit out. No idea if it is accurate.

And it's 100% accurate.
