Curt Cignetti's father is a hall of fame college football coach lmaoOr, you could argue that is why most football is generic and sucks especially the NFL. Do you ever wonder why the coaches that succeed like Cignetti at Indiana, Dillingham at ASU, Campbell at Detroit etc for example, are different?
I don't agree with your assertion that football sucks. There are obviously some great coaches who didn't come from a family of coaches, but there are, as exemplified in this interaction, a ton that are that people don't even realize.
You get better at coaching by working with better coaches, and having a network from your family to get access to better coaches is always going to be an advantage.
