Instead of Yale and the Cats at home, our path to a championship runs through the defending national champion at home and the Cats on the road. Helluva price to pay for what was pretty much an even-steven game, save for one unlucky interception.

Too many what ifs and inconsistencies with the FCS teams. SDSU defense has been porous all season the qb playing or not doesn’t affect that.

We do not play North Dakota State at home (the defending national champs). South Dakota State won two years ago. This was for my memory.

SDSU this year? Piece a cake!
 
Fucking awesome consolation prize, eh? The committee had to know that SDSU was going to get their QB back (hell...we all knew!!!) and they STILL put them in the same bracket as the #3 seed? A better placement would have been in the Tarleton quadrant. THEN they say, "Well Griz Nation - if you get by one perennial contender MVFC team, you will probably get another one the next game!" Then you can play the #2 team in the land, then NDSU.

If the Griz win the chipper this year, it will go down as one the most legendary post season runs of all time.
 
2025 South Dakota State team is good but they are not the 2023 bunnies. The bunnies fanbase says Jimmy Roger's depletion of their talent and depth really did a number on this year's team. They were able to replenish somewhat through transfers but not enough. And, just like the Griz, injuries have impacted them. They have MVJs out at LB and WR and **might** get their next best LB and a good CB back for this game.

Wyoming fans loathed Vigen when he was the Wyoming associate head coach/OC. NDSU fans loathed Vigen when he was their OC. Too conservative.

I think he did a great job developing Josh Allen and the first 2 years of Carson Wentz at NDSU. 2 first round picks that were not recruited at all before Vigen.
