Question for the Griz fans

I went back through the chain and I am pretty certain that you are the one that is in the wrong.

I did ask Wolf777 his age for clarification, but I don’t see where I replied to myself.

I know my wife feels that she has to respond to herself when I am watching football and do not answer her. That happens when you have been married for 59 years though.

You didn’t even give me the courtesy of a hug before you tried to **** me.
You are correct. My apologies.

Your assessment of Bozeman is spot on, I refuse to stop there even for gas or Whoppers on the way through on Griz game weekends. However, in my experience you underestimate the elitism in Missoula. A few years ago we upgraded our section 222 seats on the 30 to to section 223 on the 50 with access to 323 indoors above. We could not believe the clique of snobs that surrounded us, no cheering, making noise when the opponents had the ball or interacting with obvious "outsiders." After one year we were able to get our 222 seats back and rejoin friends, most of which are from out-of-town like us. This extended to our experience overnighting in Missoula, not only the exorbitant prices but the same elitism. We finally resorted to staying in Anaconda both coming and going and it has been wonderful. A ghost town eager for customers and we are treated like friends. We love getting to the games, but out of town ASAP. We're not fans of what Missoula has become either.
How do you know what Bozeman and its residences are like, if you don't stop or stay there? I like Bozeman. The people I know and hang out with are mostly family and friends who have lived there for a long time, and people who run, own and work at the many tech companies. As I have said before, the big Cat booster Larry Aasheim is my friend and has been for over 60 years. I've enjoyed some of the long-time out of staters who moved to the area many decades ago. One of my favorites was Gil Brandt, and his family. My high school girlfriend's dad was a friends and roommate of Chet Huntley at MSU and in SAE fraternity. My aunt and mom were friends with Maurice Hilleman from MSU and Miles City. The young posters/trolls/Cats on the board don't even know who those people are.

The narrative that Liberal Arts degrees don’t pay is bullshit and the fact that a Griz fan would help perpetuate it is embarrassing. The Liberal Arts are the basis on which higher education was founded…. math, science, rhetoric, humanities, not fine arts and dance.
The only STEM field they offer in Bozeman compared to UM is engineering (of which they have a dozen or so football players enrolled in). UM has many science, tech and math degrees, they just don’t market a business degree as “ financial engineering” to unsuspecting students who fault to realize they won’t actually have an ABET recognized engineering degree upon graduation.
UM’s pre-medical sciences program has one of the highest med-school acceptance rates in the country and has placed several students in T10 medical schools over the last 5 years. Some of the top people at global leader Nike have UM business degrees. The university now offers a degree in the cutting edge field of cybersecurity,
It’s time for Griz fans and UM alumni to to speak up about the great academic programs offered at UM and put a stop to the fallacy that you can’t make a living off a degree from a Liberal Arts school!!!!
Great points….i agree that Cats aren’t getting players over the Griz because they offer engineering. However, in terms of luring students in general I think it does play a huge role. In my opinion the board of Regents is doing no favors to UM. Why is MSU allowed to have a business or education school if UM doesn’t have Engineering? It’s BS, but when you look at the makeup of who is on the BOR it makes perfect sense.

LOL....what?!?!?!

Griz are a very good team still. We might find out again in a few weeks. One thing though in your self righteous post about transfers. Cats don’t win without a transfer QB on his 3rd stop. And btw the song is Mony Mony not Money Money. Money Money is the guy in maroon that will light up Brick Breeden this winter.
According to Tommy James, he wrote the song in his hotel room in NYC after looking out the window and seeing the Mutual of New York sign atop the building across the street. Hence the spelling. Fits for a team with a WAAC culture..

Hoops represents the gris fanbase perfectly. One conference championship since 2009 and getting owned by your rival is just fine in Hoops and many others mind. It’s okay lil bro everything is fine. 😂

Let me spell it out for you….if MSU didn’t have the ability to offer a 4 year degree, for example, in Business or Education, would it increase or decrease the enrollment
I’m confused about how this cohort on the board of regions is standing in the way of university of Montana getting an engine engineering degree.

Is that something that has been in the mix and they shot down?

When did President Bodnar make a proposal?

If the Griz go to Nashville this year, the Griz will be even or ahead of the Cats in recent years. Season isn't over.

There was a rumor back a few years ago (no idea if it’s true) that UM wanted start an Engineering school and Cruzado lost her shit and went to the BOR and told them not to allow it. That’s the full extent of what I know about it. I will say though that the BOR is heavily stacked with MSU alums which in my opinion is kind of a bad look.

The governor (Gianforte) appoints the BOR, correct?

Gris did t win the Big Sky, didn’t beat the Cats at home but played really hard and barely got by Eastern WA, Central WA and Idaho State. That is the new definition of success. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Let’s bet $100 on who wins tge playoff game this year? Or do you not have that much money?

And Cats haven’t won a championship since 1984. And didn’t get 18 on the all conference teams. And didn’t get the offensive conference MVP, and the Cat’s preseason MVP doesn’t even start. And the Cats’ all-conference DL guy had 15 tackles and 1 sack this year. And Cats didn’t have the all-conference QB. And Cats don’t draw as big of crowds as the Griz nor have as many season ticket holders. And I think got only 1 OL on first and second team all conference teams? And Griz got 2 OL there. And don’t have a national frosh of year candidate. And have a coach who tries to leave 2 years in a row, but can’t get hired.
