Vigen is staying at MSU

Okay. Let’s bet $100 on another Griz v Cats in the playoffs this year. I already have a bet on it. I thought it was funny that you couldn’t even find our bet.
I said several times what thread it was in, Perceptions, highlighted where I accepted your $100 bet, and tagged you in it twice in that thread.

Like ya, I will bet you again for this potentially forthcoming playoff game. But, are you just going to be a deadbeat again when I tag you losing this bet right here in this thread?

The copium is crazy. If your coach decided to stay (Albeit no one wants to touch Hauck with a 10 foot pole) yall would be just as ecstatic after running the risk of losing him. Enjoy that 2nd round exit fellas. Wish we could’ve beat you another time this year. #pooorrrrgrizzlies
Bobby made his move before. I think he is happy where he is to finish his career. Good for him. He is a Montanan. Can’t relate him to Vigen.

As evidenced by interviewing at least twice in two years to get the fuck out of his current situation.

I can imagine all the cat fans at their Thanksgiving table tomorrow being thankful that their Coach Sixx loves msu and is 110% committed to the university.

I’ll be at my table thankful that all you delusional rubes chose to be cat fans.
I think you took this excerpt of my comment out of context. I said I don't know what Vigen's motivations are. I think most FCS head coaches would like the opportunity to get a good FBS job with the big money. I am sure Vigen will continue to get offers and he will most likely entertain them. I am just glad he will be with MSU thru the playoffs. I am sure Leon Costello has a game plan ready in the event he leaves or any coach of other sport departs. These things are going to happen.

I think it’s pretty damn clear that Sixx isn’t satisfied with his current situation and wants another job.

To Copper’s point, we don’t know if Sixx is turning down offers or isn’t receiving the job offers. Likely the latter.

I should have used, he will continue to be considered for jobs, no offered. To say he is dissatisfied in the current job, I don’t agree. Times that I have talked to him and his wife, they expressed they like living in Bozeman and his experience here has been great. However, if you have the opportunity for an FBS job that pays in the millions you are are going to pursue it.

This response defies both logic and reality.

Have you sustained a recent fall or blow to the head? Can you tell me your eGriz name? Where you are located? What time it is?

This our board now, like Washinton Grizzley stadium we own it.
Since the Griz OWN the series lead in neutral site game 18-3-1
OWN the series lead in games played in Missoula 31-17-1 and
OWN the series lead in games played in Boz-Angeles 24-18-3

WE are the owners of the stadium we are demanding be renamed Reno H. Sales.

Get away troll!

Vigen’s message is completely weird and oddly written. Why didn’t he just say he had withdrawn his application and decided to stay at MSU?
He’s holding out for more attractive options. He and his agent probably decided the could do better. Maybe he’s with MSU one more game, maybe none, maybe a whole other season.

“Hey, Coach! How do you like Bozeman?”

A. “I fucking hate it and so does my wife. I’m looking for a tornado to take me anywhere.”

B. “It’s great. We like it here.”

Which one is he going to say to get some weirdo to leave him tf alone?

So, Bobby was dissatisfied at UM before he left for an opportunity with more money? I don’t think so.

Can you imagine the lies coaches in Pocatello, Cheney and Greeley have to come up with on a regular basis?

Didn’t Coach Little-pants actually live in Denver?

People are fooling themselves if they think OSU isn't a good job.
Exactly, the idea that he's holding out for a better offer is wild to me.

The only step up from that school would be one that's not going to take a chance on an FCS coach. Wisconsin? Michigan State? Stanford?

He's got no shot at any of those places.

So again, it's one of two things:
He didn't get offered the job, which seems surprising given all the leaks, or
He got offered, but turned it down because he didn't want to leave MSU in the lurch because they wanted him to leave early.

This seems most likely, to me, but I also think it's pretty stupid. Good on him for being principled, but I don't think you're going to find a job in the next year or two in the west/midwest that's all that more appealing than Oregon State.

MSU can sweeten your contract maybe $100k at most, but turning down $2M per year for that seems extremely dumb.

For Vigen's sake, I hope they just rejected him.
