Hey, we're at home. Not gonna lose another one at home. SDSU has a tough draw as well. Gotta play the game to win it.100% that was a tough draw! Damn….
SDSU will be our last game. Will likely see Mercer in the quarterfinals if we do our part
IFAgreed, but that’s what you get when you are #1 in the country. They have definitely earned that spot. Griz could have turned the apple cart upside down a bit if they would have won yesterday. That would have made #2’s road a whole lot easier.
Both have to get by tough teams first. SDSU and Youngstown will be battles.
Youngstown barely beat No Iowa. You serious? This! You really cannot understate how tough these two games could be. I am actually happy the Griz don’t have Youngstown. I think they are the tougher of the two teams. Mainly due to injuries for SDSU. Griz got the better draw in my humble opinion. Still going to be tough, but we are in the playoffs. Time to quit whining and start winning.
Maybe, but I doubt it. A loss might just be what this Griz team needed. Seems like they haven’t gelled as a team, which drives me crazy. Maybe this loss helps them pull together. Also, maybe it helps the coaches figure out starting O line that they can stick with. For the love of God - someone figure out the high snaps.SDSU will be our last game.
Dead serious. Apparently you didn’t watch them against NDSU.Youngstown barely beat No Iowa. You serious?
I did. Up and down all year. Not consistent.Dead serious. Apparently you didn’t watch them against NDSU.
lord jeezus,, i pray of thee...Maybe, but I doubt it. A loss might just be what this Griz team needed. Seems like they haven’t gelled as a team, which drives me crazy. Kind of like SDSUI did. Up and down all year. Not consistent.
I would say you can’t equate playing a whole game to gelling as a team. This is very much a cohesive group of guys that like going into battle together and have all season. They have a bond and a brotherhood.Maybe, but I doubt it. A loss might just be what this Griz team needed. Seems like they haven’t gelled as a team, which drives me crazy. Yesterday was a complete game against equal competition. We didn’t like the outcome, but they were up to the task. A few mistakes made the difference. Cats made some plays down the stretch. It’s a game of inches and we fell short. I don’t think our guys will be hanging their heads.
I agree that they need to fine tune now and decide who the man is at certain positions. Whoever it is got enough reps all season. If it’s Amick or Johnson at tackle or Botner or Klimczak at Center. Consistency from here on.
SDSU may not even make it to Missoula.SDSU will be our last game.
If they do play a complete game at their top level, how high is this groups ceiling?Fair enough. It is very safe to say they have not played a complete game yet!
It’s a good question and one has to wonder if the BSC and Missouri Valley are evenly matched this year. The Griz put together a full game and they might be able to win the whole thing. Having said that, I hate the 3-3-5. Although it looked like they mixed up the fronts yesterday so it wasn’t a pure 3-3-5. I would love to see a four man front and make teams beat them with the passing game. Yes, I know the secondary has issues!!If they do play a complete game at their top level, how high is this groups ceiling?
They have been the definition of play to the level of their opponent all year. Show up in big games, don't show up against lesser competition.Youngstown barely beat No Iowa. You serious?
I would argue that Saturday was one of our most complete games all year. 3 or 4 plays decided that one. That saying, we play a complete game with little to no mistakes, we will find ourselves in the semis and possibly Nashville. If they do play a complete game at their top level, how high is this groups ceiling?
I fucking called it. We’re going to get South Dakota State with a healthy quarterback in the second round in Missoula. That is a tough draw.
