I have never claimed to be a college football expert. I never played the game in college. At best I was a crappy DE for 1st Tanks when I was in the Marine Corps.
I watch the games, read the stats read the pundits, listen to podcasts, and only the very most die hard of die hard fans believe the Griz are going to win this game. Everyone else has a little doubt. A lot of people are hoping, some are praying to the football gods, and I am willing to make a burnt offering of Brats and wings to the football gods for a win, I just really don't expect it to happen.
That being said, IF the Griz beat the Puds, I am going to be ecstatic and like I said before, EVERYONE is more than welcome to troll me and point out what an idiot I was for the next year.
Back to the post:
117th out of 125. Interceptions aside, please explain how that can ever be good? I can concede regarding the rushing yards allowed. 36th in the nation isn't terrible. it's not elite, but it's not terrible. 117th is terrible.
Offensively, the Puds are not going to be able to stop Montana from scoring. There are just too many weapons, and that the most balanced I have ever seen, to include the Championship teams.
Bohannon, Davis, Wortham, Shafer, Deck, Gale Gillman, Fonoti, Rocker are all weapons man. They aren't just good, they are elite.
I am admittedly subjective when it comes to KAY. He makes really bad decisions sometimes. He forces balls when he doesn't need to, he goes deep when he can pick up a first on a crossing route, and I am surprised he started tucking the ball, because he is a really good runner when he decides to run, it makes me cringe because we haven't really seen Jensen all season and if anything happened to KAY, who knows.
I know this game, this year, is probably one of the most important for the Grizzlies in years. If they can hold on to #2, and get seeded #2, it's going to be tough for anyone to beat them at Wa-Griz, UNLESS the committee decides to put UM and the Puds on the same side of the bracket. It's hard to beat a team twice, so maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea, idk.
Not here to argue the content of your post. Respect your thoughts. I am more confident in the Griz than many. I do think they will win and the home field advantage is huge. Lamson hasn’t played in a hostile environment all year. He gets rattled with pressure. Now, my question. You make a good point about Ah Yat if he gets injured. What about Lamson? Have the Cats even given a snap to a backup? I pray no kid gets hurt by the way. Actually hope all players remain healthy for both teams.
