Some of you hate reality. I like winning national championships, not getting pummelled in the playoffs year after year.
So, the week when our gameplan is "shut down the run and they don't have a chance to beat us," you are bragging that you expected their QB had some passing yards? Are you this desperate to find something to criticize that you have to ignore the obvious?
Most normal people can enjoy being a Griz fan even if we don't win it all.
It's okay, though. Sports fandom is a little too much for some people to handle.
Cue the "you're weak" and "you're why we haven't won anything" schtick lmao
Pummeled in the playoffs every year? Like in 2023?
It must be a sad, sad life if you can only enjoy following a team when they win a national title. By the time they win one, you have wasted the year complaining instead of enjoying the ride.
This was exactly what happened in 2023, except that we didn't hear from Steve much between week 7 and the semifinals, despite him getting about 20% of his total posts in the weeks after we lost to NAU lol
He wants us to lose so badly.
My favorite is when he gets on Facebook groups and goes after former Griz players who went on to the NFL and tells them how wrong they are about their opinions on football.
7-5 in playoffs since Bobby returned. Would have had more wins but Griz EARNED 1st round bye in 3 seasons. Losses were twice to very good SDSU teams, one to very good NDSU team, one to James Cignetti (who is the best coach in all of college football) coached James Madison and one to Weber State in tough weather conditions. That is reality.
The Weber loss gutted me. Still hurting for Sneed on that day.
People forget that we were without Humphrey and Akem for that JMU game, and we were STILL only down 14-3 at the half. The way that offense was able to work when both were healthy, I still think that outcome would have been different and a significant game changer for us. Maybe not a victory, but significantly closer.

To be fair, dill pickles are sour.
Man that was one of the best defensive performances we’ve seen. I was so sick I couldn’t join in on the bus group that went down and the way that ended didn’t make me feel any less ill. 2021 and 2022 felt so similar with the defense being so dominant and just wishing we had an offense to complement them and the special teams.
They've beaten McNeese, Butler and PSU. The closest this game is going to be is at the opening kickoff.
Hell, just use AI. According to OldFartGrizzly it's NEVER wrong.

How those seasons could have gone without QB injuries and a backup that just couldn't put it together... I will always wonder. Those defenses were special, and the offenses were good before the injuries. Will never forget the image of Cam and Akem standing together on the sidelines, hurt and unable to finish out their careers like they wanted. Hearts breaking.
