I would say NDSU actually has depth but is already an average team it’s just that a lot of the FCS is not good at all. South Dakota State had been ravaged by the portal and did not have their starting qb. Which other teams of note has NDSU beaten so far?Which 2 injuries (to what positions) makes them become average?

When was the last time Montana lost to a MV team, except SDSU in Frisco? Again, NDSU hasn’t shown it can beat the Griz in the last few years.Look at all the insults.
Not one comment on the mediocre state of Big Fluffy football.
That is very telling. You guys know I am right but lash out anyway..
The first step is admitting you are wrong and asking for forgiveness
Can you put your post in English? What I know is when it comes to football players from Bozeman High School you can give the guys who went to UM like Brock Coyle a pass but everyone else has not gone to play high level football,
Maybe it is the North Dakotans that never went to college and probably didn’t graduate high school that are huge fans of the Bison because there is no NFL in their state. When was the last time Montana lost to a MV team, except SDSU in Frisco? Why are some Bison fans so obnoxious and without knowledge of the game.
When you look at Bozeman High School’s football history, one thing stands out — the best players, the true competitors, are the ones who choose the University of Montana. While a few graduates have opted for academically elite schools like Dartmouth, the reality is that the highest-level football talent from Bozeman has consistently found its home in Missoula. Can you put your post in English?

We could lose 3 starters on each side of the ball and still beat any team in the FCS by double digits. You guys are funny, I will give you that!
Unless you are an 18-23 year old that actually dresses out for games "you" are not "we."We could lose 3 starters on each side of the ball and still beat any team in the FCS by double digits. You guys are funny, I will give you that!
Unless you have seen him book airline tickets, you can’t say that for sure. He might buy 2 tickets at a time for himself on trips and identify as a we? Probably why the thundering turd migrated via ground transportation to Frisco. Takes a lot of livestock trailers to get it all down there.Unless you are an 18-23 year old that actually dresses out for games "you" are not "we."
It looks like one of the 8 Bozeman high NFL players played for the Griz. 4 played for the Cats. Which proves that the highest level of Bozeman high players have not gone to play for the Griz. You must be too young to have any sense of history. Bozeman high players go to the Ivies for an education and to become doctors, lawyers and businesspeople. Many have made a good deal of money. When you look at Bozeman High School’s football history, one thing stands out — the best players, the true competitors, are the ones who choose the University of Montana. Dartmouth might offer prestige in the classroom, but when it comes to competing at a serious level in football, the Grizzlies are where real players go to prove themselves. The University of Montana provides a passionate football culture, championship tradition, and coaching staff that knows how to develop Montana-grown talent into college-level standouts.
Bozeman’s top athletes have always been driven by more than just academics — they’ve wanted to win, to play in front of packed crowds, and to be part of something bigger. That’s why, time and again, the ones who truly love the game have chosen Missoula over the Ivy League. The evidence is clear: Bozeman High’s best football players don’t go east for prestige — they go west for greatness.

That’s a fair point — Bozeman High has produced some great athletes who’ve gone on to the Ivy League or stayed home to play for Montana State. The Ivies will be in the playoffs this year. Not sure what you point is or was addressing, if anything, but I'm fine with most of what you just said. I was once a high-flying out Hawk. My teammates went to WSU, Colorado, Wyoming, Alabama, MSU and EWU for football. And WSU, Duke and MSU for basketball, and AZ for wrestling. This includes about 15 guys. I don't recall any that went to Montana. Bozeman high brother and nephew played sports for Dartmouth. The 3 of the Bozeman high football players who played at Dartmouth played cornerback and a 4th played QB.That’s a fair point — Bozeman High has produced some great athletes who’ve gone on to the Ivy League or stayed home to play for Montana State. But if you’re talking about football success — postseason wins, championships, and the highest levels of FCS competition — the record overwhelmingly favors those who chose the University of Montana.
The facts speak for themselves: Bozeman High alumni who went to Missoula have consistently been part of programs that not only made the FCS playoffs, but won them. The Grizzlies have multiple national championships and decades of deep postseason runs — a culture of winning that very few programs in the country can match. In contrast, those who went elsewhere may have reached the next level, but they rarely experienced that kind of sustained success on the field.
At Montana, Bozeman’s top players became part of a legacy — competing in front of packed stadiums, battling for national titles, and representing the state on one of college football’s biggest small-school stages. Dartmouth offers an elite education, no question, but the Ivy League doesn’t compete in the FCS playoffs, so its athletes never get the chance to play for a championship.
So while Bozeman High certainly sends bright minds east, the winners — the ones who played deep into December and lifted trophies — have worn maroon and silver. In terms of football achievement, the University of Montana remains the destination where Bozeman’s best have gone to win.
I rarely think of the Bison. You have no clue what Griz fans think. The main difference between the Grizz and the rest of the FCS schools is this.
You guys eat sleep and pray you can beat the Bison.
NDSU focuses on winning championships. Everything else is in the rear view mirror.
We are everyone's superbowl
Now that is easily the most ridiculous post I have read on this site in some time. Astounding that you actually typed that nonsense. We could lose 3 starters on each side of the ball and still beat any team in the FCS by double digits. You guys are funny, I will give you that!
The entire internet knows what Griz fans think. It's right here for everyone to read.I rarely think of the Bison. You have no clue what Griz fans think.
why does this type of guy always miss the irony of them spending lots of time on this board, then trying to mockingly say that griz fans are always thinking of team (x), which happens to be the team he purports to be a fan of?The entire internet knows what Griz fans think. It's right here for everyone to read.
You think about the Cats
You most definitely think about the Bison
You blame the refs more than any program on the planet
Everything your fanbase does is excuses and deflection.
Just watch, first post after this somebody makes a fat gravy joke.
