Oh yeah! Near as I can tell, there are nine D-I games on tomorrow, and 8 of them are being televised. Still more interesting, three Big Sky teams will be in action, and two of those games will be televised. I think the Idaho State game is being streamed, but I’m not sure about that. Here’s the whole list:

Iowa State at Kansas State 10:00 am ESPN
Incarnate Word at Nicholls 11:00 am ESPN2
Idaho State at UNLV 2:00 pm
Tarleton State at Portland State 2:30 pm ESPN2
Fresno State at Kansas 4:30 pm FOX
Sam Houston at Western Kentucky 5:00 pm CBSSN
UC Davis at Mercer 5:00 pm ESPN
Stanford at Hawai'i 5:30 pm CBS
NC Central at Southern 5:30 pm ABC

Idaho State vs. UNLV was supposed to be played during week 3 but they moved the game up to week zero back in July so they could accommodate UFC at Allegiant Stadium.

According to Google which may or may not be accurate, the Idaho State / UNLV game will be broadcast on the mountain west network.
I just loved the reasoning behind this move that Vegas gave to the NCAA to move the game to week 0. They said the fight was important to tourism and the local Vegas economy, as if they don't host 100 of these things a year already. I don't follow all of that, it just doesn't interest me to pay for any kind of fights, but it would seem that there should be other places to watch where you can actually see it.

Everything I have seen says MW Network if you want to catch this. At least the competitive phase of it.

Enjoy the return of football everyone! I hope the games turn out better than they look.

UC Davis and Mercer is a must watch. Outside of that Idaho State and Portland State are probably the 2 least interesting Big Sky programs.

ESPN2 coverage of UIW and Nicholls called UIW quarterback U at the FCS level. Other than Cam Ward being there for a year, what qualifies them as QB U? I would have to give that to NDSU, but maybe some of you all have another choice.
Look up Zach Calzada and Lindsay Scott Jr. and you will see why. I agree though that NDSU should have that moniker.

10 - 3 Nicholls St end of 1st qtr. Nicholls St got interception after tying game @ 3 - 3.

Nicholls defense appears good. Torres @ UIW appears like a good QB.

I live in San Antonio, I am very aware of who he was talking about, but you can't be QB U when guys transfer to Washington State and Kentucky, coming from Auburn and all that. Again, nothing there makes UIW remarkable, Eastern Illinois has contributed far more to the next level at the QB position than UIW.

Delaware with Rich Gannon and Joe Flacco would like something to say. I would take those guys over choke artists Jimmy G and Tony Romo any day.

Lindsay Scott did set an FCS record for TD passes and I believe total TDs while at IWU, was also the Payton Award winner in that system. That had a little something to do with IWU’s rep for QBs not to mention Cam Ward going on to be the 1 overall pick this past draft.

I wasn't making nominations, but the comparison was to UIW so if Flacco and Gannon want in on that, they are welcome to apply.
