Guys, we DID get new jerseys this year.
(If you don't care about jerseys, feel free to tune out and go back to arguing about moving up lmao)
As the resident jersey nerd, I saw this post from a recruit on a visit, and noticed how the jersey he's wearing is very obviously not the same ones we've worn over the last 4 seasons. The "style" looks the same with the shoulder stripes, but the jerseys, themselves, are definitely different.
This is what we wore last season:
And this is what we're wearing this season:
In case you can't tell the difference, the stitching on the front and the "ventilation piece" under the neck is different. The jerseys we are wearing this year are the same model as the blackout jerseys we started wearing in 2023, the Nike Vapor F.U.S.E. Elite. Same larger vent plate and diagonal stitching. I've heard these are also lighter and easier to move in than the previous ones.
This suggests to me that we'll be wearing these for the next several years, and vindicates the small but passionate group of us that care about what we're wearing when we play and called this several months ago
