Future Scheduling

Schedule any big12 team you can and even look at the acc, the have appetites for fcs game in week 0 and 1. Huge $$$$ payouts and the only results needed is kids get reps and program exposure.
And injured and beat to shit. It's usually a depth thing.

and Oregon State and Utah and UCLA and USC and Arizona and Arizona State
I stand corrected, we have Oregon State on the 2026 schedule, but at this point Oregon State is more like Boise State rather than the Oregon State of the Pac10 of old. None of the others are on the schedule through 2029.

Feel free to share the list of P4 schools that have reached out with $800k offers since the huskies got embarrassed.
We have never had an $800,000 offer for these games. $600,000 to $700,000. Your point is moot.

My first thought (after my stomach settled from throwing up at the thought of the additions, and in particular letting Southern Utah back in), would this mean that we would go back to the days where you can schedule a Big Sky opponent as a nonconference game in years you don't play to ease travel?
Also, I would think you are looking at adding another conference game (9 in total each year) and what about an additional rival (3 total). This would give us the chance to chunk Portland State to the side and play Eastern and Idaho every year. Let the Vikes have Eastern, Cal Poly and Davis with Sac State out of the picture.

Never implied a past $800k payout, the Washington game in 2021 paid $675K. Given post 2021 inflation, there is no way the Griz play for that amount today. It’s likely going to take an offer in the $800k range to cover expenses and net what a home game brings in.
