Someone did it in ‘23. Can’t quite remember who.How many teams in the FCS that have reached the national championship in the last few years have operated under that system? 1?

That would be the 1 that I referenced.Someone did it in ‘23. Can’t quite remember who.
Ya, and we’ve done what I’m guessing you’re implying can’t be done? So what’s your argument against it again? That would be the 1 that I referenced.
It's only been like two years that we're seeing this strategy as necessary across the landscape of college football. That would be the 1 that I referenced.
Two general problems I have here. First, I generally think players that have transferred once are more prone to transfer again. I just prefer/believe in a different recruiting philosophy. Hope I’m wrong.Ya, and we’ve done what I’m guessing you’re implying can’t be done? So what’s your argument against it again?
Do you have anything to support your first problem? Second, of course adding 30 transfers is atypical...up until the past couple seasons is wasn't a possibility to have access to that number of players. Two general problems I have here. The second would be that bringing in 30 transfers implies the HS recruiting, and transfer recruiting, has been sub standard. Despite what some claim, bringing in 30 transfers is atypical for top programs. So, the implied concern is that if the recruiting has been bad enough to have to drastically rebuild the roster in one off season, what confidence is there that the staff has fixed whatever problem they had? I realize this sounds somewhat doom and gloom, and I really don’t believe it is, but the question remains.
As for the first, I think in the very near future, all most all recruits are gonna be transfer happy and you’re gonna have to rerecruit your own kids every year. As for your 2nd, I thought the same thought but I think I’ve come around to a more positive spin. Most of these transfers were 3-4 star recruits and mostly out of our normal reach as an FCS program. Now, due to the drastic change in the college landscape, we all of a sudden have access and can be a draw to these high level kids that are looking for immediate playing time. Ultimately though, I think this is the new way of football and we’re just gonna have to get use to it.Two general problems I have here. Having to replace all of the defensive starters leaves a big hole to fill. That doesn't mean recruiting has been subpar. It means the players graduated, transferred or retired. You just find to look for something negative. Two general problems I have here. First, I generally think players that have transferred once are more prone to transfer again. That plus the oddity of all the Covid length of eligibility ending is leading to this. It will settle.Or maybe this is a one time opportunity for recruiting transfers since FBS schools need to limit rosters due to the House settlement which presents opportunities not seen before and, likely not to be seen again.
Hmmm. Let’s see. New member. Under 40 posts. Trolling to the max. Not biting bud. The staff is doing awesome and it burns apparently. Probably a Cat troll or someone else who is butt hurt about BH. Did he steal your girlfriend? I am sure he would be willing to give the poster back.Fck that. We should the best gawdamn HS recruiting class every gawdamn year at this level.
Unfortunately UM has weak-minded timid leaders at every level though.
Agree, it may or may not be a sustainable practice moving forward. We may not know if it was successful after one year. Correlation does not mean causation.Perhaps. I hope so!
I still think it’s a valid concern worth discussing though.
Would you expect them to say anything else?I talked to Justin and Bobby today, and they said all is good with recruiting.
Yes, I know them well and they are always completely truthful and forthcoming with me. You probably don't have strong relationships with people and people who trust you.Would you expect them to say anything else?
I was with you until you attacked PTGrizzly with personal insults. That shows a person who is not secure with the information they have shared.Yes, I know them well and they are always completely truthful and forthcoming with me. I wouldn't expect you to say anything else, though.
The real question is, if they told you otherwise, would you be honest with us?Yes, I know them well and they are always completely truthful and forthcoming with me. You probably don't have strong relationships with people and people who trust you.
I wouldn't expect you to say anything else, though.
Check out the size of some of the FBS transfer classes that they have brought in and come back to me. You’re acting like is this really huge random crazy one off number there are plenty of big boy programs that have done the same exact thing over the last couple years. Two general problems I have here. First, I generally think players that have transferred once are more prone to transfer again. I just prefer/believe in a different recruiting philosophy. Hope I’m wrong.

A huge thing I’ve noticed with the majority of these transfers is they have 2 to 3 or even 4 seasons left. It’s not like we’re just trying to grab a whole bunch of seniors. As for the first, I think in the very near future, all most all recruits are gonna be transfer happy and you’re gonna have to rerecruit your own kids every year.
