Welcome to the Griz FB team, Blake.
Provides depth at a minimum. Veteran player which I like. It’s a good add but I’d still like to see another QB and DB.

Great get. Looks like a likely starter or at least in the main rotation. Can probably block too. Has a bit of size. His dad was fired in Nov. 2024 as the head coach of Kenn St.

We have12 wide receivers on the roster. Can someone explain using an open spot for another?
I agree. His dad I believe was only head coach Kennesaw St ever had since starting program a dozen years ago or so. He coached with Paul Johnson so ran all that really good option stuff he ran. They changed last year to more spread offense with their move up to FBS and struggled. But I see he had a game a couple years ago against a very good Furman team with 3 catches for 66 yards in a close game. The thing about coaches kids is they get it. So they will be good teammates and accept their roles. Much like Barnum was last couple years. A mature player like him will be great for all the young stud receivers Griz have like Davis, Dever, Bridges and Hendrix. I think this kid and Drew Deck are perfect role models for these young guys.

Since we are limited to 105 players it would seem that the opening could have been used better or was this just an opportunity some coach saw. He was not heavily recruited in the portal.

I think it’s 120 for UM and schools that don’t opt in until school starts, then no limit.
Ya but Bobby said during the signing day press conference that his intention was to operate with a 105 man roster. Now maybe he’s since changed his mind on that, but that is what he said as of February.

I remember Bobby saying he was going to limit it to 105 earlier. Possibly that has changed? If it's 120 then this makes more sence.
