The Coaching Carousel

Can you read? Seriously? I literally have mentioned the NC season, pointing out that it doesn't change the fact that it has been an anomaly in his overall 2.0 body of work isnt dismissing it. You're the only one trying to dismiss an entire year of football, what a 🤡
2023 is not an anomaly. It's where Hauck as taken the program. 2024 is the anomaly.

This is just in the Big Sky:
6th
3rd
3rd
6th
1st
5th

Which of these things is doing their own thing, which of things is not like the rest (Sesame Street).
Conference rank is not relevant. It's overall wins and losses, playoff appearances, and advancing in the playoffs. The Big Sky is a strong conference.

Do you think NAU was a better team than Montana this year?

I mean they tied for 3rd, so they clearly must be better, right?

NAU’s high conf rank took them deep in the playoffs this year and got them a high seed. All pre-game speeches of coaches are required to include conf rank. That UT guy is better than Herbstreit.

Without starting a new thread, what exactly do the Anti-Hauckers want? Fire the entire staff, outside hire, and start over? Promote from within and start over? What realistic thing, as an FCS program in a small town, would you like to see that would change everything tomorrow?
They don't know.

I was very critical a couple years ago regarding the offensive line progress and coach. At least I was focused on what I saw as a specific requirement...

Now, posters are simply having irrational temper tantrums. I get the fanatic part of being a fan, but some of these recent posts are ridiculous.

The bigger problem is eGrizzers consuming the cat-fan post propellants and getting drunk on emotion. That's soft.

Isn't winning the conference one of Bobby's 4 main goals he talks about.....Scats/Conference/Natty/Graduation?

Yes, it’s a goal, but after regular season play and after the season, no one cares about conf rank, except some unknowledgeable fans. Advancement in the playoffs is what’s most important.

Using conference rankings when multiple teams can tie for any position, especially when you have 2 or 3 losses, is not an accurate descriptor of a team's strength, and even more-so when said conference is unbalanced in such a way that not every team plays similar teams.

The litmus test is, did you win the conference? If not, did you make the playoffs and if so, how far did you get?

Pretty standard in this type of contract. Reality is that both parties will negotiate safeguards for themselves. An agent would be remiss to not negotiate it in.
An agent would be negligent to negotiate something into contract the client doesn't want because all things in contracts are accountability measures.

You can want to finish your career somewhere and still put coverage into a contract as a safeguard. Do you think the University decided to forego language to cover themself if he did decide to leave just because the client said he wasn't going to? Like I said, it is standard in this type of contract for both parties to include some type of language like this.

BH was in a power position. Everything in the contact are things he wanted including getting paid for winning the conference.
