So, about the bolded: First, not many people endeavor to argue logic with me, so I commend you for the attempt; second, the very fact that you admit he didn’t accept the bet proves my point; third, appealing to emotion is actually a logical fallacy; lastly, I don’t think “logic” was the term you sought.
You don’t gain any ground by admitting defeat but then saying, “But he’s a meaniehead jerkstore.”
I personally do no care what he thinks. He is just the one who call me a demeaning name trying to bait me into a bet, name the terms of the bet, then turned tail and ran. I don't believe he has done anything to deserve the benefit of the doubt when he says "I didn't see your post" and that he "doesn't pay attention to my posts." His next post was only 12 posts on the thread after I accepted his proposed bet and he was notified via the message board alerts. Just because I don't back down from him when he tries to belittle me doesn't mean that I am stupid or wrong. He doesn't know who I am, but he assumes things about me that he has no clue about.
I have no beef with you, I feel like we disagree about this issue and that is fine. He is just a self-aggrandizing bloviating troll and as such, I don't believe anyone should take him seriously when he tries to bet because he has no intention of ever paying up.
Totally fine. No beef with you, either. I’m just pointing out that he may have solicited the bet, but you proposed the terms of the bet and he did not accept them (at least here). It matters not whether he saw your proposal, the fact is that the proposed terms of the bet were never accepted. You can have issues with him, but it doesn’t change the mechanics.

If memory serves, a Bobfan said any amount (much more open-ended than what Hoops invited). EG said 250k, which was never accepted (and, I believe, outright declined). I think you might be mixed up in the ol’ noggin. Grab a pen and paper if it helps.

Well if you're hoping the Cats are just going to fall off the map because Tommy is gone - you're setting yourself up for disappointment. He is a special player and I agree there is zero chance our next QB will be able to run like him. That said, the Cats have established a dominating running game that pretty much leads the nation year in and year out. They also have a very good, young defense. Be dominant on the lines, run the ball, and stop the run. That formula won't change and it will be more of the same for the Cats in 2025.
