Frank Gogola Article

Junior was on the team this year too. We didn't get to Frisco. You couldn't coach a first year little's kids football team to a win. At least the Griz weren't a seeded team who lost a home playoff game to an unseeded team, like the Cats did.
The cats were never seated 14. They’re going to play in their second national title game in three years shortly. It’s iembarrassing to listen to your nonsense about how good the grizzlies are when they finished in fifth place.

They were a top 16 team in the country. I could be HC and get that team a top 16 seed with the massive attraction that UM has. BH hasn’t done anything impressive and he got carried to a championship thanks to Junior.
This is one of the worst takes I have ever seen. Being the winningest coach in Big Sky history is not impressive? He has just a handful of less wins than Vigen in this decade. Is Vigen also not impressive? What has Vigen done that Hauck has not?

And, honestly man, an FCS team you coached would probably be winless or close to it. I'm not trying to be a dick here, but you have never coached football in any serious way. You wouldn't know how to design a practice, let alone a full game plan that counters what the other team is doing. The FCS may not be the SEC, but these guys have spent their entire lives in football and they know how to coach a team. I'm not even talking about you or your intelligence as a person, you just don't have any experience to make a claim like that. Lets tone down the hyperbole here, lol.

I didn't say the Griz were good this year. I said they were seeded. It's embarrassing that you can't even admit the Griz went to Frisco last year and clobbered the Cats. In 2021, the Cats lost 38-10. They were down 28-0 at halftime. They scored their TD with 5 minutes left in the game. Embarrassed themselves and the state of MT. TO was 506 to 335. Cats had 127 yards in first half.

You played Tennessee St hoops. We played NDSU. Quit with the stupid posts. Also teams learned to punt away from Bergen (besides TSU) and he was essentially taken out of the return game.

If Hauck is an elite coach why don’t FBS schools offer him HC jobs? Hauck is proving that he can’t rebuild and that he needs prior success to have success.

My point is Hauck’s success is because of the previous coaches and the significant advantages that Missoula has over any FCS school.

Ha! Talk about embarrassing..... the Cat knocking the shit out of the griz this year was about the same lopsidness. But in 2022, and 2019 - those were brutal ass kickings (Way, way more lopsided than the 2023 game) and it didn't even look like the griz belonged on the same field. And the College Game Day game was front in center for the whole world to see. That had to be embarrassing AF!

You just post your biases and your narrative. You don't point out those other things. You are those other things.
This idiot cat troll Skookum posted this about being a Griz fan a long time ago. Almost sad to see the mental illness from that fan base. That is weird as hell.

I've been a griz fan my whole life been to way more games for more years than most here. I just point out the hyperbole and hypocrisy. I haven't pretended anything.
All this time I thought you grew up in a family of Griz fans, but ended up going to Bozeman after a stint in the military. Then while on the east coast you attended to a Griz game in Huntington and decided Griz fans were too arrogant for your liking, thus the beginning of your hatred of the Griz and likely the genesis of the long-con in which you’ve masqueraded as a Griz fan on egriz since 2006. Guess I had you confused with someone else…..My Bad.
Just wondering, did your son ever find a place to play hockey at the collegiate level?

Pretty close, did I say all that? definitely grew up a griz fan, in a griz family. Went to tons of football, basketball and track meets. Went to the military after HS, then came to UM for a year after that. Finished in Bozeman. Did see the griz play that NC in Huntington against Marshall. Couldn't stomach all the atrogance and wallmart griz fans toward the end of the streak. My son is now attending UM and playing on the hockey team.

He must have watched a different Game Day than I did. The one I watched on ESPN was over before kickoff and then they showed an FBS game. Pretty sure I had to stream the brawl on the Not So Flagship ESPN+.

Congrats to your son! Pretty cool that he’s able to live out the dream of playing a collegiate sport.

For clarification, what is your definition of a Walmart fan?

That's moving the goalposts, buddy. I responded to your statement that he hasn't done anything impressive. As I have shown elsewhere, he took a team that was not ranked in the top 25 back to the national championship and being a perennial top 10 team. Really, man, I'm not coming at you, I'm just genuinely telling you that you are young and blind on this.

If your point is Hauck’s success is because of the previous coaches and the significant advantages that Missoula has over any FCS school, how do you explain the previous two coaches not being able to turn it around? The two years before Bobby returned to Missoula, the Griz were 6-5 and 7-4. They didn't make the playoffs. They were not ranked in the top 25 to end the seasons. It is clear to me that the current state of Griz football is better than under previous coaches. That is just objectively true, right? It wasn't because of the previous coaches.

If you want to discuss advantages Missoula does or doesn't have, I'm happy to do that in private messages so you don't have to worry about a crowd jumping in to the conversation. I've had it a lot, but both Missoula and Bozeman just don't have the advantages you are implying.

Also, you're making assumptions if you think he hasn't been contacted about other jobs. He is at the end of his career and told everyone that unless things somehow go terrible in some way, this is his last job. His lack of moving isn't lack of offers, especially as a special teams coach, from my understanding.

You don't need to try to have good faith conversations with people who refuse to do the same, Elrod.

Griz won a game. Cats didn’t. It’s wins and losses. And you never played football and don’t understand the game. That is evident in your posts.

San Diego St offered him. 5 yr contract and 7 figures. He turned it down. NFL teams have offered him to be ST coach. He wants to stay and finish at MT. You need to pay attention. You don’t have a clue.

That's fair. I do try with him because I like him. I do think he is more in the "young and arrogant" category than outright troll. He's not a fake account, he should just focus more on his extra curricular life than posting on egriz, lol.
