USC Transfer QB Jake Jensen Commits

No what's annoying is all the doomer boomers on this site losing their minds over even the slightest bit of adversity. You all said no QB will ever transfer to UM again and here we have a P5 dropdown not even two weeks later. I don't know if this guy is any good but at the very least he was good enough to hang around USC with Lincoln Riley for 2 years. Depth arm at the very least with a QB1 ceiling. Considering how often Ah Yat is hurt I literally don't see how anybody could be complaining about this.
we all? i'm in my 40s...and didn't say anything about no transferring QB. I asked a question because I don't understand the silly miscapitalization on purpose crap I see online. Just wanted an answer...not an irrelevant response to my question

Hopefully, but maybe the reason he didn't make any impact on the team is because he wasn't very good at doing it? I dunno. I really do hope he comes here and lights it up, I'm just not convinced, like HHB said, that this means they've moved on from their idea that Ah Yat is still the guy.
I think it cements the fact that they are, in fact, CERTAIN that Ah Yat is the guy, come hell or high water. In fact, I said as much in the "New QB?" thread that was started several days ago.

So does this mean that we are watching the Griz DEVELOP a QB? And now people are complaining that he's making frosh mistakes, and as he gets older and plays more, those mistakes are less and less? Is this a case of wanting cake and eating it too?

That's yet to be determined, no?

I think people wanted to watch Fife in the games while AY developed and made mistakes in practice.

I think Jensen is a really low-risk/high reward type of player to bring in. I think that if he clearly shows he's the better guy in camp, he'll earn the job, but it also shows that they're okay with him as a depth piece/backup if he doesn't.

Agreed, but it would likely have to be CRYSTAL clear he's better. But spending time with Kliff Kingsbury and Reilly simply can NOT be a bad thing. Kliff is like the QB whisperer...hopefully some of that magic rubbed off.

I wonder if he knows that the last three transfer QBs lasted a year, and BH tried fighting one of them on the sidelines. I hope he does not sign a year lease.
One of them took the team to the chipper...not that long ago...

But, doesn't fit your narrative.

Dude will love Missoula, Griz tradition, game day environment, campus co-eds, battering the cats, and....winning in general.

I think he will and probably should end up 3rd stringer.

It sits just like it did with Fife.

Everyone - listen carefully. Every player at every position will have to compete to start. ALL OF THEM -without exception. KAY knows and so do the rest...

No timidity - no weakness.
This is correct. Hauck blatantly states it just like that every single season. Its not rocket science
