Frank Gogola Article

Nope, the Griz are in terrific hands with Hauck and his staff.
Here's a simple question for ya. With everyone MSU, SDSU, NDSU, and USD have coming back in 2025, do you believe the 2025 griz have a good chance of winning it all? Be honest with yourself now.

I think the Cats do, regardless of what happens this Saturday, and hopefully in Frisco if that Cats can win this Saturday. Making it to the semis is the norm for the Bobcats as of now.

Careful. He does not like being asked to speculate. I assume because he doesn’t like receipts floating out there people can call him on.

I think you should lean into this and start another thread asking us if we think we'll ever beat the cats again.

Touche. I already fessed up and admitted that was a stupid comment. What I should have said is something more realistic like... do you think the griz will ever beat the Cats in Bozeman... over the next 20 years or so? That would have been a much more realistic prediction.

Do you think the cats will win in Missoula in the next 20 years?

Equally valid and sensible question.

Since the cats are so much better than the Griz in every measurable way according to some (culture, coaching, Montana recruits, hard sided practice facility, Jumbotron, rodeo runout, Beth Dutton intro, enrollment size, engineering, BOR appointees, Governor’s direct financial support, research spending, flat billed rope hats, Californians, Mony Mony at weddings, funerals and circumcisions) do you think they will ever win 16 in a row?

16 in a row against who Northern Colorado?

Yes, multiple times. However, I also believe Vigen has gotten this program to an elite level with the culture of the program, talent level recruiting, quality depth, to where it's a machine that can keep on rolling despite players moving up to FBS, graduating, getting injured, etc. This is what NDSU did for years and it appears SDSU has arrived as well. I don't think the griz are there. Of course they could get there but IMO not with Hauck. So it's probably going to take a long time.

In 2025 every single team could lose quality players to key positions due to NIL. Griz probably have as good a chance as anyone. SDSU losing their QB will be tough to fill. Oh wait, MSU as well. Good luck finding someone to just step into the shoes of a four year QB. Don’t get cocky. It hasn’t worked well for Griz fans.

Cool, I think we'll win in Bozeman in the next couple years.

Sounds good, we'll see how she shakes out. The two programs are in different places right now, and the griz aren't at the same level currently. And I'm not just saying that based on one ass kicking Cat griz game this year. The author is spot on in how he laid it all out there with the facts, much better than I ever could.

I don't really care. Things turn on a dime. EWU went from better than both of our programs to the gutter real quick. After 2022 you thought you'd ascended to another stratosphere above us, and then we kicked your teeth in 11 months later.

You're literally doing it again. If you want to think we're specks on the bottom of your shoe, go for it.

It'll only make it sweeter the next time you run away for 6 months.

Perfectly stated. This same ass tard talked just like this before the Brawl in Missoula…literally just like this….and then his kitties got run out of the stadium and didn’t win a playoff game after he was claiming a national championship run…but him disappearing for 6 months was pretty epic.
