Not sure this is true considering he didn't play this year.Their best defensive player has already entered the portal.
Isn’t one of their top players already in portal but play rest of season? That isn't necessarily so. NDSU and its booster pony up to keep as much talent as they can.
They have been buying success for years.
We need a fan portal.Ok, now you’re just repeating yourself cus you have no good answer to why you think it’s a smart choice for him to leave Montana for some FBS bottom feeders. Why then do you think it’s smart for him to leave? Please answer before you decide to deflect again.
Very many is not all. I imagine if you asked him who he believed was talented enough on the Griz roster to play FBS he would have said Riley. Here is his exact quote. You must read and comprehend different than…well…everyone
- Very many of Montana's returning players are not talented enough to transfer "up" or to anywhere "better" than Montana
When you say “we” you’re talking about the cats then? You’re a huge cats fan. It’s obvious in every post.Just because you get an offer doesn't mean you're talented enough to play at that level. Schools need to have special teams players that don't hurt them. We have many players on our current roster who will never see the field.
I thought he was joking when he mentioned $250,000.Should have paid him more.
You do understand he’s saying not very many are talented enough to transfer up, and not like you said, that nobody is talented enough to transfer up, right? There is a difference there. Not very many /=/ nobody. Basic reading comprehension. Here is his exact quote. You must read and comprehend different than…well…everyone
- Very many of Montana's returning players are not talented enough to transfer "up" or to anywhere "better" than Montana
Chump change.I thought he was joking when he mentioned $250,000.
Ndsu does not keep all their best players. Examples include Jabril Cox who went to lsu, Eli green who went to iowa st and Cole wisniewski who hit the portal last week. Every program “buys” success to some degree how much you willing to pay for that success? I’ll give ndsu credit for being better than every other fcs program when it comes to recruiting and developing talent. That has been a huge part of sustained success. They are damn good at it and it’s past time the Griz program figure out how to match em and it ain’t “winning the state” recruiting battle. That isn't necessarily so. NDSU and its booster pony up to keep as much talent as they can.

Their best player entered the portal and hasn't played all year because of any injury.Isn’t one of their top players already in portal but play rest of season?
Buying success in an era when you have no money doesn't seem like a sustainable formula?!Ndsu does not keep all their best players. Seems like a, what’s the term, “loser’s mentality” to me.That would seem to be true. Wilson and Gilman were the two exceptions that most people identified beforehand.
But that’s not what he said. He said they aren’t talented enough to transfer up. Said nothing of playing time.Just because you get an offer doesn't mean you're talented enough to play at that level. Schools need to have special teams players that don't hurt them. We have many players on our current roster who will never see the field.
no money = very minimal college football success. UM Leadership needs to figure it out and they will it’s just a matter of how long it will take. Prez graduated first at West Point so that’s a good start!!Buying success in an era when you have no money doesn't seem like a sustainable formula?!
