Saw you guys offered EWU QB Visperas who entered the transfer portal. With Fife also in the portal, what does the Griz say to swapping QBs with us

Me too.I am all for it.
Tough to tell honestly. I think he's a good QB, but nowhere near the QB greats that EWU had in the past. EWU is also favoring a run-focused offense now and most of the passing were short routes or screens. He only threw 1 interception and had the highest completion percentage in the Big Sky so take that for what you will.I read your guysâ board earlier and there seemed to be a couple posters who donât think much of Visperas. That isnât a common consensus is it?
Fife has an offer at Bowling Green so I think your way out of the trade offer. Montana has not been good dealing with portal quarterbacks. They are usually smarter than the coaches.Saw you guys offered EWU QB Visperas who entered the transfer portal. With Fife also in the portal, what does the Griz say to swapping QBs with us![]()

However, Chism was also the only real option we had at receiver this year. So maybe another couple of options at receivers would've made Visperas one of the top QBs in the conference And we'd probably be in the playoffs too.
Some could argue that offense wasn't the thing keeping EWU from winning more games and getting into the playoffs.Tough to tell honestly. Brooks Davis will end up being good too, and make no mistake we will be bringing in a receiver or 2 out of the portal. Camden Sirmon at Washington may be one to watch.Well heâd probably be screwed at UM too then. Because the only real returning âoptionâ is Racanelli. Bridges may develop into a good receiver in time, and Deck is alright, but theyâve not really separated themselves at this point. 90% of our receiver production graduated.
I donât think itâll matter unless thereâs a massive upgrade along the O-line.Brooks Davis will end up being good too, and make no mistake we will be bringing in a receiver or 2 out of the portal. Camden Sirmon at Washington may be one to watch.
Even with a depleted WR room, wouldnât you agree that Visperas would still be an upgrade from anything we had this year?
Ya, that defense... so fair point, I guess I'm just too used to EWU's offense having to win games. Some could argue that offense wasn't the thing keeping EWU from winning more games and getting into the playoffs.

So you'd rather have Ah Yat then?
I think he's been pretty consistent on that over the last few months lolSo you'd rather have Ah Yat then?
Of course I would the guy is dynamic on the field and great in the locker room. Never gets to high or low has incredible anticipation and knows where to go with the ball. I have played against him and Ah Yat is the real deal. Weird that the coaches don't notice this and want him to play when he is healthy. Also weird that the team doesn't rally around him and his leadership. You can't find a better guy for the culture or the locker room.So you'd rather have Ah Yat then?
Questions for you,No, he doesnât have âincredible anticipationâ and he waits forever to decide where to go either the ball.
