I dunno, what were you doing last year around this time?

Also, apart from a few people, I don't think you'll find many of us arguing that our season or team were very good this year, something you guys still seem to have trouble not doing when talking about your season last year.

I wasn't hyping the Griz pre-season and early season. I was hopeful and positive, but was fairly quiet. Knew the Griz had to find a QB, get the transfers evaluated, up to speed and playing well, and get the team to gel. I continued to be positive but never hyped the team, or virtually never. Yes, I poked at the Cats, which I do, whether they need it or not. Maybe I said a few things jokingly. I like to poke at the Cat trolls and dumb posters like yourself. But for people like you, my discussions of the Cats would mostly be middle of the road.

Why can't you just stick with the truth? You have to make up stuff.

And why do you constantly make excuses for everything in the world that doesn't go right for the Cats or goes wrong? Where do you get all of these excuses? Do you have a special book or website of dumb and outrageous excuses for football?

Ha! Trust me... I have zero interest in PR or any griz fan for that matter showering praise on the Cats! Please don't! I don't even care if you all admit you were wrong. That said, when people say dumb things like, griz will crush the Cats, way better at coaching, better OL, better D, better RBs, better QBs, Tommy can't throw, etc... and I post that I strongly disagree at the time, you're damn sure I'm going to follow post after the fact and remind you that I was right and you were wrong.

Funny, I had never actually looked at that. I had assumed it was a booster's house or a bar he was leaving, to be honest. When you look on a map, those two data points are..... interesting

The problem is that most of time when you have posted most of those things, you were wrong. You are consistently wrong. Griz did crush Griz last year. Griz backs are better than the Cats, but the Griz backs didn't put up big stats later in year, as Griz OL went south. I'm talking about how good they are; not their stats or who they run behind. Put the Griz RB's on the Cats, and they would run wild. How many people have said the Griz QB's were better than Mellott this season? I don't recall any serious posts like that. Tommy's throwing has improved, but he still isn't a drop back passer and we shall see how much he has improved during the playoffs. I'm not aware of any Griz posters saying the Griz OL was better than the Cat OL this season.

You are a great liar and exaggerator, though. Right up there with the best. Maybe the best excuse maker.

Watching the fcs playoffs, rooting for the Griz and every team that played the NDSDSU's. Bobby will turn it around next year, looking forward to the 3 QB platoon.....;)

That's very noble of you. I actually have a softer spot for the cats this year than I normally do, for some personal reasons, but that won't stop me from taking immense pleasure in seeing them lose, if they do.

I have not been involved at all in this thread. I just saw the Sam Herder comment on Tommy yesterday and thought it was interesting based on the comments I have seen over time on here that he cannot throw.

I swear we have to have this conversation every week around here.

He has done an incredible job this season working as a passer in the cats' offense. It gives him easy reads, open guys, and he consistently hits them. That's great, and I'm not taking anything away from him. I think he should win the Payton award this year, and I'll be surprised if they give it to Miller.

But if you think he could drop into EWU's offense and be a strong passer, you're deluding yourself. He's just not that type of guy, but it's fine because he doesn't need to be.
