Well that’s different from what you said initially. Much of the stuff said about Hauck is not correct.

I'm okay with that. It's only one small piece of what goes on in football. Do you think that Fife might have said something inflammatory to set Bobby off? Probably shouldn't happen very often; I agree with that. Are you okay with a player saying F-U back to the coach multiple times on the sidelines on tv?
So what you are saying is Bobby hasn't made a single change to adapt?

No idea if Fife said something first and I've never heard anyone say that he did. But it's football, I get it, sometimes emotions get the best of people. My opinion however is that it was way over the top on Hauck's part. I know Fife finally gave it back a bit, but I don't know what he said. It was very obvious what Hauck said however. If Fife returned the favor, then so be it. One can only take so much berating before you've had enough. That situation was on Hauck, not Fife....except of course, whatever he did to warrant the personal foul penalty in the first place. The lack of discipline on this year's team was not very "Hauck-like" but that's for a different discussion I suppose.
I am okay with pushing back a bit with a coach, and I did some of that myself back in the day, but I would never say F-U to a head coach and would never do any of that type of stuff on the sidelines during a game. I'm not trying to justify whatever Bobby did, and I don't know what he did/said, but it's never a good idea for a player to do what Fife appeared to do. Unless you are fine with the consequences or plan to hit the road. I'm sure Fife will get multiple opportunities, but some or most coaches are going to talk to the Griz coaches. If a friend calls a Griz coach, I assume the Griz coach will be honest.

I think you hit the nail on the head there...chances are both of them knew he (Fife) wasn't going to be sticking around and it's probably safe to say there was no love loss between them.
You, me and the rest of Montana taxpayers are bobby's boss. As such, using Hauck's logic, should he or Vigen be out sniffing other coaching opportunities, they should be immediately and summarily fired without a buyout. Agreed?
