If I recall, we had signed Iverson Young when Jones was offered to walk on with the Griz. At the time Young was the highest rated player to sign with UM so Jones choosing to head over the hill for a some book money wasn’t a big deal. With Young departing that may change, but nobody could have predicted that. Apparently Dolan who was a legacy kid wasn’t given much thought and the Crews debacle is ultimately the result of a teenage kid making a poor decision. I saw and briefly spoke to Dane at a game last season, if he’s truly steering kids away from UM because of Hauck, one might wonder why he’d bother showing up at Wa Griz.
