Listen to the GFP discuss the lasting impact of Bobby trying to steal the 37 legacy

I listened to it today and meh....nothing earth shattering and the talk of Ah Yat entering the portal was hypothetical....It was interesting to hear how well Bobby actually treats the media other than on the monday show and how he gives access to players where as the scats are do not give as easy access to players....first time I have listened to GFP and probably nothing i will tune into on a regular basis...I thought the best part was the 6th grader who gave his picks for the week...

Give it a few more listens. This weeks' wasn't their best effort, IMO. Too many people on the pod and Brint's sound sucked in much the same the way he was sucking down Basil Hayden's in the Delta Lounge.

In my opinion the pod is the best when there are no guests. It's usually damn funny.

Can they put a moratorium against videoconferencing guests? It really messes everything up from a listening experience.

Yeah - we talked about it today. The video calls in aren't working well this year. We're going to dive into maybe some new equipment or other options to address this stuff.

Welnel heads the UM NIL group. He puts considerable effort into it. Now that athletic departments can interact with NIL groups, he must interact with the athletic department often. He comes to QB Club. I think he's listed as special sponsor of QB Club. QB Club is mostly about and overseen by the heads coach. If there ever were any issues or hard feelings, they must be gone now. At the time this was being mentioned on egriz, I asked a starting lb about this. My recollection is that he didn't think it was any big deal and really didn't know much about it. I was told by several other people that the issue was never about getting the 37 jersey to Robbie.

It was my understanding that the question was why 37 didn't go to McConnell.
