QB who?

I don't think Fife sees the field again as a Griz, unless Ah Yat get hurts again and even then, Hout maybe next up.
I was surprised he went back in after the first fumble, 10 feet away from each other as he came off the field and Bobby didn't look his way much less make eye contact.
And I'm sure that Bobby still remembers the final play of the Weber game.

We're going to be one-dimensional no matter what we do because none of our QBs are good enough to beat SDSU passing the ball. Fife has looked abysmal against any good defense he's faced this season, and this will be the best one. He's fumbled more than any player on the team, and was the reason TN St even had a chance. Going with a QB run game with Keali'i adds at least a little wrinkle to the single dimension we'll see on Saturday.

I honestly don't think it makes much difference who plays QB, though. It's going to be ugly either way.
I am hoping either qb can pass against sdsu. I assume sdsu plays more running teams than passing teams. The OL needs to protect.

I agree with some of what you said, except Logan led us to victory over NAU with a decent defense, and he also sealed the wins over Missouri State and Western Carolina, decent teams.

This weekend, I watched Minnesota defeat Wisconsin in their border state rivalry in Madison and reclaim Paul Bunyon's Ax, their trophy similar to our/Idaho's Little Brown Stein. The other UM finished the season 7-5, will go to a bowl game, and came within two points of beating # 4 Penn State last week in Minneapolis, losing 26-25.

I don't know Gopher's HC PJ Fleck, but I think he can coach a little football. ( I grew up in Anoka and Fridley, suburbs of Minneapolis, so I am biased towards the Gophers and Vikings.) And he offered Logan Fife a full-ride to come to Minneapolis and play for the Gophers. I am pretty sure whatever his reason for recruiting Logan, it wasn't "We have a scholarship to burn, and I feel sorry for this Fresno State backup QB."

I don't think there will be a lot of disappointed GRIZ fans when Logan again starts--it was pretty obvious when we put Ah Yat in the game yesterday, Coaches Hauck and Pease would not let him throw the ball because they don't have confidence in his passing-- It was hand-off, hand-off, handoff other than one short, high- probability shovel pass.
And a bad handoff to Gillman who was blamed for the fumble.

Brosmer as always gonna be the guy in Minnesota this year. Fife was gonna be brought in to compete with Drake Lindsey for the backup role and a chance to start next season, which is probably why he decided to come here.

For those of you doubters, on Saturday before we played Eddie George and Brandon Fisher's tough, resellient TSU, Michigan, 6-5, 20.5 pt underdogs according to Fan Duel went into Ohio State's Horseshoe, and upset the 10-1 Ohio State Buckeyes, 13-10-- upsets do happen !!!

Doesn't mean we will upset SDSU in Brookings, SD, but it does mean we have a shot ar the upset if we don't beat ourselves both before the game and during the game !!!

We have almost zero chance of beating SDSU. They have dominate lines on both sides of the ball. They control the clock with their running game.

We can't handle any of that. The only moral victory we can have is if we don't get shut out. Scoring even a FG is a win. Just like the last time we played them. 3 points.

I have a hard time wrapping my head around even getting 3 points in this game. Who knows maybe we get extremely lucky and get a scoop and a score of a SDSU fumble. And get 6 then miss the extra point.

This one is gonna be historically ugly and maybe the single biggest loss in UM history

The Michigan-OSU outcome means nothing when it comes to comparison to the Griz-SDSU game. Zero.

Don't forget you are going to get out coached.

Yeah like if Tommy Mellot would have came to the griz do you think he'd be playing QB? There isn't a snowballs chance in hell. Hauck isn't smart enough.
He might be getting looks to play in the NFL though, if he had been a Griz.
