Shout Out to NEZ and Surrounding Seating

The NEZ, although missing many people, was very loud and very good last night. I think they helped cause the last 4 of 5 false starts.

It never ceases to amaze me at how loud they are, even when down a few people.

I sat there some in the mid-90's, so know the view and some of action.

Hats off to the NEZ and surrounding crowd. You bring it every game, especially at important times. I can't imagine there is a concisely louder section in college football.

Bodnar was doing a lot of pushups with the canon guys, even later in the game when the score was up (and most of the guys (women?) weren't actually doing pushups.

Very impressed with those who attended. Great job!

Watching on TV our crowd came across as very loud and boisterous despite the stadium being only half full. I'm not surprised. Our playoff game crowds always step it up a notch. Again, for those of you who were there, pat yourself on the back (just don't put your shoulder out of the socket).

This kinda makes sense. I’m betting those that showed up for this game are generally the rowdiest of the normal crowd. Couple that with less bodies to absorb the sound and more exposed concrete to bounce the sound, I could see it being louder in there.

I think the next highest attendance was around 10,000 and then dropping off to around 5,000 or less. UM’s 12,000+ looks pretty good next to those numbers.

I think a lot of the same people were there Saturday night who went to Frisco in January...absolutely great fans! Some even a tad bit inebriated.
