Do the Griz win this Saturday?

cliff notes version:

it’s a lie detector thing, they depress the body’s natural biological responses during questioning and can produce false results due to a lack of electrical/muscle and BP response during questioning. However, an experienced questioner can reduce the discrepancy of the body’s measurable biological responses.
Cliff notes? How can Cliff take notes? He hit the transfer portal after last year.

😉

Answering the question, do the griz lose this weekend?
does anyone ever really lose? From an existential point of veiw. Or do we just learn man. Noone ever loses. They're just learning opportunities.

I watched a press conference of the Mcneese coach & he said Cliff would not be returning next year. I thought he was a Senior this year!

As bad as they’ve been coached and played, would it be better if they didn’t?
I hate fuckers who who want or cheer for their own team, especially UM, to lose. Ever. And it pisses me off when I’m in the stands and someone boos our own players. It’s never better to lose.

With this sort of mindset, you must be an avid follower of MSUN/NMC. I feel bad for Jerome.

Be thankful for the great program UM has. Then eat some turkey and have a few glasses of wine. Win or lose, cheer for the Griz to prevail. Saturday night will be glorious.

Why would it be better if they didn't win?
The ONLY positive reason, IMO, would be to assist in effecting a bit of change. I can’t help but wonder if a bit of the spark or competitive fire is gone after the staff has been here for a while. There’s certainly something to be said for freshening things up. BH 1.0 was intense firey competitiveness. One could easily observe that from the outside looking in. Currently, I see a lot of hot air and MEH. It’s been a very disappointing performance this year. Someone mentioned them finally waking up and going on a tear in the playoffs, That would be surprising as most have been expecting that since October only to be repeatedly let down. Hopefully, they can win one. I see a definite drop off in season tickets next year, that will certainly get some Admin folks’ attention. I foresee the next “Good” year not arriving until 2026.

Boofuckinghoo.

I think we obviously lost a lot of talent in last year's senior class--Gubner, Walker, Forbes, Cotton, Graves, Hill, Flink, Jancarro--and we do not yet have the talent and skill we had last year, and I think the 3-3-5 needs to be junked, and we should go back to the good ol' days of the solid 4-3-4, aka 1995 and 2001 !!!

The good news: we went 8-4 in a rebuilding year, and on paper at least, we have a promising incoming '25 freshman class with more talent, beef, and depth coming for both the O and D lines. Although we didn't live up to our preseason # 1, almost no team rated a preseason # 1 in The Big Sky finishes the regular season as conference champions. A lot of our fellow Big Sky peers would be over-the-moon happy with an 8-4 year-- Weber, Sac. State, Eastern, Northern Colorado, Idaho State !!!

While we really need some improvement in coaching and schemes and more talent, help is on the way in the three previous recruiting classes and this incoming class--the wheels are not coming off the GRIZ Cadillac, and next year, the Shi##y Kitties are going to experience what we experienced this year as Tommy Mellot, Wehr, Green, etc.graduate !!!

Go GRIZ !!!
I think the point is this shouldn’t have been a rebuilding year with the skill positions on offense, essentially 3.5 returning o-line and the number of seniors on defense.

What a great idea. Let's ask the players if they would rather not play the game. Even though they made the playoffs, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs. Even if they win, they don't deserve to have another game. You and people like you gave up on the Griz last season too. Great fans. Really understand the game.

When you lose your starting qb, your starting NT and one DE, a starting safety, two of the three starting LB's, two starting O linemen, including your center, I think a good argument can be made that you're team is in rebuilding mode. Maybe we could have handled it better, but we're in the fricking playoffs, hosting a playoff game on national television so this season was good, not great like last year, at least not yet 🤔 !!!

I think maybe what I am saying will come into better focus next year when MSU is also rebuilding similar to what we did this year.and while I don't know their W-L record will be a year in advance, The Shi##y Kitties are not going 12-0 regular season in 2025 !!!

And lost starting corner and our nickel (or whatever the Ore. St. transfer played). And punter and kicker.

Not that I looked at this as a rebuilding year. Just had lots of holes to fill. Filled them, but perhaps not with enough firepower in some spots. And Gubner was not replaceable. While I like this year's QB's better than McDowell, the QB spot still hasn't got fully going, like it did with McDowell. The QB rotation seemed to get the QB situation from getting fully going. Maybe Saturday will be the day the team gets going on both side of the ball at the same time.

South Dakotas State lost THIRTY FOUR players after last year's National Championship. They are damn good again, sitting #3 in the country, likely will be back in Frisco. Championship caliber teams can do that, reload versus rebuild. That's what NDSU and SDSU do, and it appears MSU has arrived there as well. We'll see about USD.

So the Cats reloaded for the 2023 season, and then lost 4 games including their first home playoff game? The Cats finished 9th in the Stats poll last season. That's your idea of how the Cats have arrived?

There seem to be some issues——unclear why, but appear to involve decisions regarding our quarterbacks. Haslam may need to get involved for a successful resolution. Our offensive play calling has also been self destructive and perplexing. We should never give up on our team. They will win Saturday—Go Griz!
