Do the Griz win this Saturday?

What a great idea. Let's ask the players if they would rather not play the game. Even though they made the playoffs, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs. Even if they win, they don't deserve to have another game. You and people like you gave up on the Griz last season too. Great fans. Really understand the game.
Curious, I never said they don’t deserve to be there etc, or basically everything in your above BS. I can appreciate the, once again, attempt at trying to change the subject and or narrative of what was actually said. Once you start insulting the individual, you’ve already lost counselor. I was just curious what others thought.

There seem to be some issues——unclear why, but appear to involve decisions regarding our quarterbacks. Haslam may need to get involved for a successful resolution. Our offensive play calling has also been self destructive and perplexing. We should never give up on our team. They will win Saturday—Go Griz!
Haslam isn’t going to get involved, nor should any AD, in my view. I was told years ago he was afraid of Bobby.

I have won all along, especially against your dumb stuff.

Want to explain this comment of yours?

“As bad as they’ve been coached and played, would it be better if they didn’t?”

I didn’t insult anyone in my post.

I think we obviously lost a lot of talent in last year's senior class--Gubner, Walker, Forbes, Cotton, Graves, Hill, Flink, Jancarro--and we do not yet have the talent and skill we had last year, and I think the 3-3-5 needs to be junked, and we should go back to the good ol' days of the solid 4-3-4, aka 1995 and 2001 !!!

The good news: we went 8-4 in a rebuilding year, and on paper at least, we have a promising incoming '25 freshman class with more talent, beef, and depth coming for both the O and D lines. Although we didn't live up to our preseason # 1, almost no team rated a preseason # 1 in The Big Sky finishes the regular season as conference champions. A lot of our fellow Big Sky peers would be over-the-moon happy with an 8-4 year-- Weber, Sac. State, Eastern, Northern Colorado, Idaho State !!!

While we really need some improvement in coaching and schemes and more talent, help is on the way in the three previous recruiting classes and this incoming class--the wheels are not coming off the GRIZ Cadillac, and next year, the Shi##y Kitties are going to experience what we experienced this year as Tommy Mellot, Wehr, Green, etc.graduate !!!

Go GRIZ !!!
Sure a lot of Big Sky teams would be happy but, look at their facilities and history. Then look at the Grizzlies... Griz should be a top 5 team every single year. The best place you could come to play in all of FCS.

Only 2 reasons Griz aren't where they should be.

1. Recruiting
2. Coaching

I love Justin Green but, it may be time for a new recruiting coordinator.

People who post predictions are crazy!

Here's my prediction: yes, griz win. IMHO griz have lacked 'the spark' all season. If that spark gets lit Saturday night, anything can happen the rest of the season. Winning SDSU is highly unlikely just due to size, etc., that's been hashed in other threads, but anything's possible.

Not tonight, however, I am saving a nice bottle of Blanton’s single barrel for tomorrow and Saturday. Even though it’s considered “Better,” I prefer Eagle Rare or Weller.
I prefer Widow Jane but all you reference are tremendous bourbons.

The ONLY positive reason, IMO, would be to assist in effecting a bit of change. I can’t help but wonder if a bit of the spark or competitive fire is gone after the staff has been here for a while. There’s certainly something to be said for freshening things up. BH 1.0 was intense firey competitiveness. One could easily observe that from the outside looking in. Currently, I see a lot of hot air and MEH. It’s been a very disappointing performance this year. Someone mentioned them finally waking up and going on a tear in the playoffs, That would be surprising as most have been expecting that since October only to be repeatedly let down. Hopefully, they can win one. I see a definite drop off in season tickets next year, that will certainly get some Admin folks’ attention. I foresee the next “Good” year not arriving until 2026.
There is no positive in losing, unless you are a liberal who doesn’t hate losing and is used to it. WTF, losing has a positive??? Cmon be better.

This perspective is whacked.

UM went 8-4 this year after losing several key contributors, the student athletes were good citizens as far as we know, and UM is in the playoffs. Yeah, I had hoped for more victories and more consistent performance, but the student athletes have always played hard. Larry Donovan was the coach during my time as a student, and those years will always be my measuring stick. The current situation is pretty sweet based on those metrics, but too many fans are just spoiled.

Crimony, UM has a home playoff game Saturday night. Go to the game, make some noise, and count your blessings.

The griz are going to win Saturday. And it's not that far fetched that they beat SDSU and make a run.
Any team can get hot in the playoffs, and as a fan that would be wonderful, but this team has shown too much inconsistency and lack of discipline to believe that switch can just be flipped. For seniors like Junior though it would be a great story. I don't know if we get Fontes back and if any of our playmakers are 100% (White, Gillman, Ostmo, Bergen, Barker).
