Fife isnt the answer

Big guy, good runner. He would be perfect.. Play tight ends as receivers and Katie bar the door. Thats what I recommend and I know the coaches listen to me.

Maybe Bobby's biggest miss, recruiting Tommy to play safety.

The Cats weren't 100% certain he was a QB at first either. If McKay hadn't been so soft and Bauman hadn't gotten hurt, they may have never given it a serious try. But it happened and the kid has become one of the most effective QB's to come out of the state of Montana for quite some time.

Get real. He rushed for 50 yards and only completed 50% of his passes.

See my post above. He did it against bad teams. Yesterday, against a below-average defense, he was average. You can't argue that point.

Bergen had 6 catches for 27 yards yesterday. I guess he must be a terrible football player! One game... that's all you need to know.

He's not a QB, just like Anderson.

He's an athletic RB that doesn't throw very well. The one deep ball he threw yesterday was right in the money so you know it was an accident throw.

There are some takes so stupid that they aren’t worth debating.
I am a Griz fan and a Tommy Mellot fan. Number 1 because he is a great kid. But as far as a QB goes he has gotten better every year. He is very athletic, tough as hell, throws a decent ball but more importantly he is very smart and a great leader. The kid is going to do well in life. I don't think most fans have any idea how much these kids on both teams put into a season. I can hardly sit in the stands anymore and listen to many around me. I think they forget that the players on the other teams are also D1 athletes that have been recruited and are working their asses off too. Look at all the players that have played over the years in the Cat Griz games. Look how many are leaders in their communities as doctors, attorneys, business leaders, teachers, coaches etc.
