Fife isnt the answer

He was blindsided from behind from the rush from the left side. Tough to resist those hits and not fumble.

He had to pick himself up off the ground so many times. I'm sure he was starting to get happy feet. I mean shoot he even got hammered when they blew the play dead on a false start because noone, not even the other refs heard the whistle or saw the flag come out.

I was at the game and I swear that it appeared that Bobby did make the decision right before kick off. Maybe it was something else but as the Fife and Ah Yat were across from each other warming up he walked to Fife and pointed at him and nodded like "you are the one" again could have been something else but that is what it looked like.
there were some passes that should not have been dropped and there were passes that were either poor throws or bad routes. there were a couple times where Fife had wide open running lanes that he didn't take or waited too long. . I thought man Sneed or Cliff would have run for it....

I'd have to agree with this. For some reason we just can't consistently seem to find the right QB to run our offense.

I find it very odd that a 3rd string transfer (McDowell) became one of the best QBs running this offense. Don't even know what that means, but if I was to guess, we need a QB that can pick up multiple 3rd and 5's throughout the game with their feet. That's what Clif seemed to excel at.

That's why I'm confused about McDowell. Guy didn't have the best throw, but could be counted on to make a 20 yard pass and then, more importantly, run to pick up the first down when behind on the chains.

Just rambling here, not even sure if I'm making sense. Listening to myself, it sounds like I think the play calling needs to change to match the QBs we have and less of trying to pound that square peg in the round hole.

Bobby won’t be held accountable and the Griz won’t sniff a title until he is gone. He can’t recruit, nor develop an offensive or defensive line. Hell he only needs to develop three interior D lineman with his gimmick defense. Can’t do it! Unless he changes, which he won’t, the Griz will languish in mediocrity.

I know Bobby is going to do what he does and needs a big fast durable QB dosen't need to be a great passer. His offense isnt going to change but a big fast guy will have success. Ah Yat will excel somewhere but not in Bobbys offense. McDowell fits Bobbys offense like a glove. This is not a difficult problem to solve. Griz are not winning championships but will be a top five team using this strategy.
