What am I missing with Ah Yat?

Rushing TD's. He finished the game with 11 rushes for 57 yards. 2 TD's were QB sneaks. The other 2 were 9 yard and 6 yard rushes. I mean props for scoring but Gillman and Ostmo combined for 250 on the ground that game. I wouldn't call that Elite production from a QB against a nonconference opponent.

I looked it up and he avgs 2.8 yards per carry. For comparison Cliff averaged 4.8 last season.
Oh. You said the C word.

At 8-3, we are not average, but if we don't win last Saturday due primarily to Ah Yat's poor play, we don't even make the playoffs and lose to a then 2-7 PSU @ home, the second home loss in a row !!!

While Logan is not totally responsible for last week's win, his performance and Ieadership, 197 yards passing, 0 int's, and 28 points he put on the board along with good O line play, Gilman and Ostmo, Racanelli and Fontes, plus Stellar D, are the reasons we won !!!

Cool story, I wont argue with you. You obviously cant see generational talent. Most of you can't that why you support Hauck when the majority of the team hates him.

Enjoy your week
I think I’ve made it very evident on this board that I don’t support Hauck or the coaches whatsoever with some of their recent decisions…… the main one is playing Ah Yat over Fife. That’s a travesty.

Didn't watch Brian, play I wasn't born yet. I would highly doubt he threw high all the time due to bad footwork and balance. Looking at Ah Yats stats from back then, he was a WAY better QB than Fife. Fife has played the majority of the season and we are an average Big Sky team with a slightly better than average record. Wow, impressive
One question I always have, is how much does the style of play affect the QB? For instance, Vidlak is having a pretty good year at SFA, but we all saw how he struggled in Montana's offense.

I'm not someone who can answer that, but maybe someone else can. Just my two cents.

The O-line quit and BH made moves.

Reading coverages, processing information, timing and anticipation. AY has a better feel for the game in and out of the pocket, usually moves away from pressure better, much more athletic and accurate. Most of the team likes him a lot more than other QBs on the roster. They know, they play with him. Pease knows too
I don't agree with your assessment. I am certainly glad you are not on the coaching staff. Have you see Ah Yat's stats from HS?

Also, it is apparent that you are completely biased in most of your posts.

Because everything about AhYat is better and his ceiling is through the roof. He does things mentally no other QB on the roster does and thats why Pease wants him as his gunslinger.

There is nothing Fife does better than Ah Yat. Nothing
Fife has a better completion%, (66-59) Avg yards per pass (8.1-5.5), TD/INT ratio (14-2 - 5-4) has taken less sacks (9-12)

But I can hear you grumble already. Hurrr buttt ahhhh yhattt is a DyNaMiC RuNnEr

Fife runs for 2ypc vs 2.8 from Ah Yat. Fife has 5 TD's vs Ah Yat's 7

What exactly leads you to the conclusion that there is nothing Fife does better? He does literally everything better as a passer and is only a fraction behind as a runner. You're straight up wrong son.

Disagree, I think the team has chosen Fife.
