Cats Hang on to Sneak By Davis

30-28. Had to stop a 2d point conversion for the tie.

Davis had 20 first downs to the Cats' 16. 414 of TO for Davis to the Cats' 333.

Cats got 2 early TO, and a nice long punt return for TD.

Cats had 6 sacks. Way over their 1.8 sack average coming into the game. No sacks for Davis.

Cats averaged 4.5 per rush, for 159 yards. Larison had 112 yards, averaging 4.9. Davis, Jones and Humphrey had 91, 34 and 30. Long of 24.

Mellott 18-25 for 174 and 2. Hastings 22-33 for 320 and 3, and a pick.

67 plays for Davis, 6.2. 60 for Cats, 5.6.

Davis 4-12 on 3d down. Cats 6-15 and 2-2.

Davis averaged 14.1 per completion. Cats 9.7.

6 punts for Davis. 5 for Cats. No TO's for Cats.

Cats 11-0 and will at least tie for Big Sky championship.

Davis is impressive. Really impressed with their coach in last weeks presser here in Missoula, impressive effort tonight to make a late run at the cats.

Bobcats look like a dangerous squad. I do not feel great about next weekend.
 
Hoops you can spin this any way you want but the only stat that matters in Football is that you have one more point than the other team, and in this case the cats had 2. That’s all that matters
 
UM gave up 386 of total offense to Davis, 256 yards passing and 130 yards rushing.

Davis had 414 of TO against MSU. Hastings had 320 yards passing against Cats.

Yea obviously the griz are better. UCD is another bad team the cats have played.
Also tell me again how awful UNM is. They are currently tied 28-28 with a top 20 FBS team.

They are tied 28-38. That is amazing. I never said UNM is awful. I mostly have said good things about them. You are either a liar or pretty stupid.

And.. the Cats beat Davis at Davis. The Griz lost by 2+ scores in the most favorable FCS home field advantage in the country. 75 rushing yards.

What’s your point?

My posts in this thread, except a couple stats, have all been directed at the Cats and Davis, not the Griz. Can you not read or comprehend? Also, I said early in this thread that it was a good win for the Cats against a very good team on the road. Go back and read that, and then apologize.
 
Well, I suppose this is as good a place as any to say I was wrong. Cats won, but not by the double digits I thought they would. One could certainly make the argument that the score was a lot closer than the actual game though. Cats made it ugly.
