Cats Hang on to Sneak By Davis

Looking at the general stats, you could make the argument that Davis should have won. While Davis had a great comeback, they couldn't overcome the early turnovers, punt return and huge pressure on the qb, much of which was in the first half. Good game. Both teams are good. I had to laugh when some posters in the first half and into the start of the 2d half, were thinking the Cats were going to kill Davis and the game was essentially over. My view was that Davis was a good team, was close to getting it going, wasn't going to give up especially at home, was probably going to do better, and then did start getting it going. While Davis was great in the 4th Q, I didn't think Davis was playing as well, before that, as they had against the Griz. And I didn't attribute that to how the Cats were playing or how good the Cats are.

Fife has been the better QB all season, the coaching staff hopefully finally figured that out today. He plays the whole game we probably have another 7-14 points on the board in the first half and probably don't lose to UND if he plays the whole game.
I have 0 doubts MSU is definitely favored and should be, we're going to need to generate turnovers, get into a probable shootout (MSU secondary looked vulnerable at times, if Fife is playing gives us the best chance) perform better then y'all on Special Teams and if we have some rivalry shenanigans go our way we might make a game of it.
But as you can tell, we're going to need ALOT to go our way especially on Defense.

That stat determines who won the game. But it doesn’t determine who wins the next game. Other game stats are part of that mix.

Nope. I don’t say any win is a good win. And I said earlier in this thread that this was a good win for Cats against a very good team.
Where did I predict a Cat loss? I don’t recall making a prediction, certainly not this week.
