Offense is NOT our problem. Unless Clif suddenly became an all-conference CB, I don't think there's much change to our current record. The Griz would have zero losses if he were still our QB.

And he doesn’t play on defense. He was a great leader who elevated others around him.
Leaders impact the whole team. And he doesn’t play on defense.
Nobody said otherwise.Leaders impact the whole team.
Just when I thought you couldn't post anything more incorrect or asinine, you go and top yourself. The Griz would have zero losses if he were still our QB.
He has already played in too many games. Unless something has changed in the last few years and I missed it, you can't take a medical shirt if you played in more than four games.MacDowell could apply for a medical extension with the NCAA if I am correct. He may be a ghost from the past yet again.
How many games did the Griz lose once he was placed as the starter?Just when I thought you couldn't post anything more incorrect or asinine, you go and top yourself.
How is this relevant to this year? How many games has he won with this year's team? With this year's defense? LOL.How many games did the Griz lose once he was placed as the starter?
We would have won the all regardless of the defense. How is this relevant to this year? How many games has he won with this year's team? With this year's defense? LOL.
Quarterback play was certainly not the cause of our two loses this year!We would have won the all regardless of the defense.
With that basis of thought, it is just as possible that they...gasp...could have lost more games. That is the fun of what-ifs.We would have won the all regardless of the defense.
We have evidence to support the contrary. They would be undefeated, and the defense would perform better. With that basis of thought, it is just as possible that they...gasp...could have lost more games. That is the fun of what-ifs.
It absolutely was the cause. You must have missed the second half of the North Dakota game. Weber would have had the ball far fewer times with McDowell at quarterback, not to mention he would have had runs that broke Weber's will.Quarterback play was certainly not the cause of our two loses this year!
They count all games, as I understand it. A game is a game in terms of that calculation. I had a friend that lost his medical shirt the year Weber played Western, and they counted that game as one of his four. Again, though, this could have changed in recent years.I think it would depend if the ncaa counts all games or just conference. I am sure hoops can fill us in. It's more complicated than I care to understand.
QB play was sorta the problem vs UND. We couldn’t get us a 1st down in the second half to save our lives. One first down in that half and that game likely is a win. Essentially the WSU loss boils down to a fumbled hand off. It’s definitely feasible to say with Cliff, we win those 2 games. The offense isn’t necessarily better because a different QB is under center. Every one of our skill players returned and many have said the O line is better than last year despite the departures. I can see Hike being on to something here.Quarterback play was certainly not the cause of our two loses this year!
