McDowell,

quick google search from an article in the Oklahoman
The most known Sixkiller is Sonny, who was born in Tahlequah and became the quarterback at the University of Washington before playing professionally. He was also a cast member in the 1974 movie “The Longest Yard.” “(Sonny) is my great grandpa's cousin's son,” Sixkiller said.

Wow. Who knew? Ha.

Well, I never had any use for those who Quit the Griz. Jumping into the Portal is quitting the Griz, accomplishments, well documented not withstanding. He was a mercenary, playing for the highest bidder, period. How many teams has he 'committed' to and left hanging in this 'career,' including our Griz? Cry me a bucket of tears.

So you don't have any issue with a player quitting on his former team to JOIN the Griz, only players who "quit the Griz" to go play somewhere ELSE.

Makes perfect sense.

Too bad he got hurt, but that's football.' How many teams has he 'committed to' since high school?' Count them. Don't forget the 'de-commits **':
1) Louisiana Lafayette
2) Kilgore
3) Central Arkansas
4) Southern **
5)  MONTANA
6) Temple **
7) Prairie View A & M **
8) McNeese State

And why is this so important to bring up and celebrate everyone something bad happens to him?

A very distant relative. I think Cam's great father's cousin's son was Sonny, or something like that.
Reviewing your statement.I am thinking he is very distant.I could win the bet easily but hate to take avantage of you for making a mistake.“(Sonny) is my great grandpa's cousin's son,” Sixkiller said. Who knew?HA

Looks like the grass (turf) is not greener on the other side for Mcdowell.I think he thought he was good enought to be a NFL caliber player. If you don't try you won't succeed so there is that.

Not to get nitpicky, but I don't think he ever actually committed to A&M...

Well, then it might be only seven schools in six years? That might qualify him for the Sainthood process, if'n he's Catholic when he passes. I now see him in a whole new light!🤣🤗

I can see being upset with a kid if they leave before finishing the season, like before the playoffs or something. But if a kid leaves he might have a good reason. None of us really knows what an individual's situation is.
Just don't get it, period. It's the new world, and if you're going to hate on every kid who leaves that's a LOT of energy spent hating on a bunch of someones when you know little-nothing about their situation and why they left.

Ya, definitely never seen this level of hatred towards a former Grizzly. I’d say you’re spot on with this assessment. I mean who in their right mind would hate a guy this much just cus he went and played for another team after helping our team get to a natty. I think Big Cliff not only fuqd her, he made 77 watch.
The Griz would have zero losses if he were still our QB.
