STATS FCS Poll, Oct 28 (Griz #8)

Idaho was very good. I doubt any give those teams a run like at all
The Idaho team you played was not the same team that played Oregon, or even the same team that played last week. MSU benefited from an injured-ridden Vandal team. If the two teams played again next weekend, it's very likely a much tighter competition.

It didn’t matter. The storyline was could Idaho’s great d-line stuff our run, that was a easy no. There is no way their QB would’ve changed the outcome

Just like there's 'no chance' the Griz get the 2 seed.

You sure like to speak in absolutes.

It was 24-0 at half. Lets say their qb got them 10 points, its 24-10 and we only wear them down from there
You're assuming the Cats would have scored 24 in the first half. If Idaho had it's QB playing, they hold the ball for longer. You're looking at probably more of a 17-10 halftime score.

I would pose the question that you do understand Eck and Idaho’s philosophy, but that would be pointless because you clearly don’t. So…he has built his team around a philosophy of ball control. Being without a healthy QB or backup QB that makes it about impossible to do what that team is built to do.

Do you really think that MSU puts up 24 in the first half against a healthy Idaho team that chews up 7-10 minutes of the clock on each drive and allows the defense to rest???? They had 4 punts, a turnover on downs and an interception. Only one drive was longer than 5 plays and 3 drives were three and outs. That defensive line was out there the whole first half. Probably had a little bit to do with the results you’re so quick to point out.

Once again good on you guys for winning that game, but let’s not pretend that Idaho team is anywhere close to the team that played Oregon so close. Keep pounding that chest though Money, and prepare that backside for another a$$-whooping at the hands of a Dakota State school in the playoffs which is how your season traditionally ends.

Ok and we likely still win over the identical team that played Oregon close

Layne isn’t that good man. He wouldn’t have made a significant difference. If he was super good he would’ve torched EW.

If you want to argue they got tired look at the first couple drives. We ran if with significant ease.
