I would pose the question that you do understand Eck and Idaho’s philosophy, but that would be pointless because you clearly don’t. So…he has built his team around a philosophy of ball control. Being without a healthy QB or backup QB that makes it about impossible to do what that team is built to do.
Do you really think that MSU puts up 24 in the first half against a healthy Idaho team that chews up 7-10 minutes of the clock on each drive and allows the defense to rest???? They had 4 punts, a turnover on downs and an interception. Only one drive was longer than 5 plays and 3 drives were three and outs. That defensive line was out there the whole first half. Probably had a little bit to do with the results you’re so quick to point out.
Once again good on you guys for winning that game, but let’s not pretend that Idaho team is anywhere close to the team that played Oregon so close. Keep pounding that chest though Money, and prepare that backside for another a$$-whooping at the hands of a Dakota State school in the playoffs which is how your season traditionally ends.
