I thought Davis was all-world, according to what some Cats have said. I thought some Cats have said that no Griz rb would be in top 6 rb's for the Cats. This all-conference team must be rigged.

Davis only carried the ball 104 times for 722 yards last season. Gillman had 194 carries for 968 yards.
Also Gillman is really good. As is Davis.
Preseason projections are fun.
A lot of good players on the list, and there is still a lot of talent in the Big Sky even in the new age of NIL. And although we all love seeing the guys we expect, I was really happy to see Isiah Childs get the ST nod. He was the epitome of a team player last year and made an impact where he had the opportunity. A very interesting career at his time since transferring to Montana.

Nope. Gillman better than Davis. Take off your Cat glasses. A number of the Cat fans on egriz say some of the dumbest things and show they don’t understand football. You are not one of the worst offenders, but you first sentence is just plain dumb. That’s not the reason. The coaches know Gillman was better last year.

Gilman had more yards than Davis in playoffs and Gillman’s team was 3-1. How about Davis? 0 yards and 0 wins.

The Griz are getting to be like Cats. Our fifth team running back was first team all conference.
Guess we’ll see if he stays healthy and has enough snaps by end of season to warrant the pre-season award.
Lol... he wins. The voters named Gilman the best RB so as it shall be. Of course they also said Tommy is the best QB so any griz fans that had high hopes they would find a QB on their roster better than Tommy..... sorry bout your bad luck.
I'm not sure if we have a QB better than Tommy, but we have at least 3 that are better passers.
