How could Griz Gillman possibly be first-team all conference rb over Davis of the Cats?

There was a problem in Missoula: “In the past three years, there have been at least 80 reported rapes.” Practically overnight, Missoula went from being the home of one of the nation’s most respected public universities to a place where young women were victimized in horrible, violent attacks–or, as news coverage began describing it, “America’s rape capital.”- Thomas Perez (US Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights)
Holy shit! It’s like giving raises to reward drunk driving coaches! You are still too afraid to answer whether or not you’re on your 14 off, right? Just a young MTTech student with time on his hands to drive traffic. 🙄 Everybody knows.

I’m currently at work 😂. Are you seriously comparing rape to DUI… thats nuts

Kid committed suicide and your school held a haunted house in the same dorm. Time magazine said 80… check the article
Article must have been wrong. There have never been 80 rapes in 3 years in Missoula. Never. Who cares if a haunted house is in the same dorm as someone committed suicide. Life goes on.

Do you not know the difference between a rape and a REPORTED rape? How can you be so stupid. Again, show us anything that shows 80 rapes in Missoula in 3 years.

Yes I agree reported rape is different but are you assuming women are just making up the accusations?

That is a quote from a Times Magazine article, do you think they just make up numbers. Another quite from Yes Magazine “Last month, Jon Krakauer’s MISSOULA: Rape and the Justice System in a College Town was released. It documents the disturbing regularity of “acquaintance rape” in Missoula, and the 350 reported sexual crimes investigated by the Department of Justice that took place in the city and campus between 2008 and 2012. Many of the cases involve players on the University of Montana football team.”

Wild! You were about seven at the time given that you are totally a current Tech student and definitely not a mid-50s, lonely troll.

Mods, there's a scene in Blind Side in which Orhe blocks his guy into oblivion and when his coach asks him where he was taking him, he replied, "To the bus. It was time for him to go".

Well, it's time to take shithead mony to the bus.

Why so dense? By the way, I lol'd because you used Krakauer as a reference.

Yes, I believe Time and Krakauer "made up" the numbers, by taking skewed and incorrect numbers and misusing them. In any event, this is a football message board. Of whatever the allegations were, there was 1 Griz athlete, Donaldson, who pled to sexual assault and not one athlete convicted, or even sanctioned by the school or thrown out of school. So, is your point that UM had 1 athlete involved in sexual assault?
