MBBALL 2024-25 University of Montana Mens Basketball Recruiting

*updated
Joe Pridgen ✅

As far as I can tell, all listed players are with the team. Most likely, one of the incoming transfers I am counting as a scholarship is a walk-on player.

I was not expecting another addition, much less another guard, but it is clear the staff is focused on rebounding as a mentality, not a size attribute. Go Griz!

I saw somebody on Twitter speculating that Dargan is walking on

Montana, Weber, and Northern Colorado have put together what I consider to be the best recruiting classes in the BSC. ISU, PSU and EWU have undergone complete rebuilds, so it's hard to tell what they may have. The rest have added a piece or two, but no sure bet stars.

We are 3-4 months out from the season starting. There could be some late additions before then, but not likely.

My attention now is on the 2025 recruiting class and beyond. I expect some of us to pick up a few HS recruits, but I'm sure that there will be a lot of spots left for next year's portal spree. Nobody wants to be over committed in the early signing.
